B'z the release their 1st single in 2 years

B'z will be releasing a new double-A side single "Seimei/Still Alive" on June 14th. This will be the duo's 53rd single and their first new single in two years.

One of the tracks, "Seimei" is the CM song for "UCC Black Muto" with which they will also start a collaboration campaign in June, while the other track "Still Alive" was the theme song for Takuya Kimura's TBS drama "A LIFE: Itoshiki Hito" which aired in January.

Along with the title tracks, the single will include "Sekai wa Anato no Iro ni Naru", the theme song to "Meitantei Conan: The Darkest Nightmare" that was previously released as a digital single last October as well as "Fukiarenasai", the theme song to Hiroshi Abe's film "Shippu Rondo".

The single will come in 3 different versions: Limited Edition (CD + DVD), B'z x UCC Edition (CD + Original goods), and a standard edition (CD only).

The DVD for the limited edition will contain the music video for "Still Alive". The B'z x UCC edition will have two coasters coming in a tin and also an application card for "UCC B'z can set (three canned coffees)" which 10,000 people will have a chance to win.

B'z to release new album 'New Love' in May

B'z will release their 21st original album "NEW LOVE" on May 29.

This album will include a total of 13 tracks. It will be available for purchase in a limited edition, regular edition, and an analog edition. The limited edition will come with an original T-shirt.

B'z Tak Matsumoto to release first new album in four years

Tak Matsumoto will release a solo album titled "Bluesman" on September 2.

It's been 4 years since Matsumoto released his last solo album "enigma" (2016). The upcoming album will feature 13 songs, including "Actually" with Himuro Kyosuke on vocals, and "Tsukiakari no Gotoku," which was the theme song for the 2019 ice skate show 'hyoen2019 -Tsukiakari no Gotoku-.' It's described as an album that represents the "blues" from various approaches including rock and Western.
