Hypnosis stars SMAP guy Inagaki Goro as Dr Saga, a former pyscho-therapist who returns to work to help his pyschologically damaged lover, Yuka Aoi (Seto Asaka). The plot is similar to the film version of the show, and other movies (Angel Dust). The mystery surrounding the "Purple Butterfly Murders" and Seto Asaka's role are very entertaining. I like the eventual connection between the head therapist and Yuka as well. On the other hand, Inagaki Goro just bugs the hell out of me after awhile. Overall, it's entertaining but can be frustrating to watch, particularly since the notion of killing someone with Hypnosis is so rediculous to begin with. |

Interesting drama about hynoptism. Seto Asaka and Inagaki Goro star in the drama as the patient with memory gaps and her ex-shrink-turned lover-turned shrink again co-lead. Seto Asaka is a normal girl with the exception that she has days where she can't remember what she has done the previous days. Normally, no problem, except that her previous ex-boyfriends keep on dropping dead due to what is guessed to be hyponotic suggestions. Inagaki Goro plays the part of the shrink in love with Seto Asaka trying to free her from her problems and get to the bottom of the situation. Rather intesting drama, and not at scary. Better than the movie. |

After watching "Hatachi no Kekkon", I started to get in to doramas. I started watching this one and from the very first episode or "case", I also fell in love with it. I became very obsessed with it and it was always my thing to watch on Saturday nights. I even started to cry when it said "last case". I just love everything about it, especially the music! |

Actually I watched the movie...about it's not the purple butterfly but green monkey(midori no zaru), starring Kanno Miho(Oh gosh, she's so pretty, no wonder goro lioves her!). The plot is the same and all i can say is, don't watch this alone!!!or probably you're hypnotized too... |

Asaka Seto was amazing here. Her skill out shined all other actors performances in the show. There are a lot of twist and turns. As usual, the final epidsode was the show stopper that tied everything together. This reminded me of the other drama named "Ice World". Don't miss it! |

Don't watch this alone!..but i watched this alone at night and I can't sleep because this is so creepy and the soundtrack is so haunting.Good series and i finished the series in one day till 3.30 am. |

Basically a very good show and unique plot, though the story is a bit unconvincing and I do not quite like the ending.. very sad.

its scary but it made me keep watching it. you kinda guess who's the murderer but then the keep adding hints of other somthing else. goro inagaki was a nice plus to the drama. |
