VCDs or even Overseas version DVDs like Taiwan or Hong Version versions are MUCH cheaper.
truthfully I only download my doramas at places like www.d-addicts.com or Japan-TV fansubs....it's free ... |

i think Hanzo21 is referring to buying doramas on DVDs (the JAPANESE VERSION) which are intended for sale in Japan...they are very expensive....they can be close to 150 to 200 US DOLLARS for one b ... |
