Gokusen Anime goes back to the raw, more original roots of the story. Yankumi is definitely and obviously Yakuza in this treatment, and the humor is way,way better than live ... |

I saw 2 before I saw 1 so I like 2 best even though the story was pretty similar. As far as favorite character, Nakama Yukie or Hayami Mokomichi, I've seen both in several roles. |

When you say archaic do you just mean words not used often anymore or also the kanji? I've noticed words and kanji I don't know but figured that I just had a low vocabulary for Japanese. |
