at first when jdramas like beach boys and under one roof were first shown on tv, i didnt like jdramas because i was listening to chinese dubbers, but after fansub anime influence i grew to love japanese original dubbing... i only really started after i watched food fight and bus stop on channel 8... then the following shows they aired, GTO, Hero etc got me really into jdramas.

tokyo love story. though long vacation is probably the drama that i first watched. friend lent it to me during university. something to pass the time or rather take my mind off computer programming.

the soundtrack to long vacation was good...and then i decided to buy tokyo love story...watched it and fell in love with dorama ever since.

The first dorama I've seen was "Ai o kudasai". That was some years ago when it was broadcasted on NHK, cause I was so lucky and saw it then (normally I'm not able to get NHK but that day it was free for everyone Smile
But after that it took me till half a year ago (when I found out the way how to get dorama with the I-net) till I got addicted to doramas ^_^

@kizzu
Seikei Bijin is such a nice dorama! I'm watching it too at the moment and it always makes me feel better 'cause the girl (>.< forgot her name) is so cute and clumsy Big Grin

Kenshui nanako. It is the 1st japanese drama I watched. Very funny, especially the main character has a pair of big ears.

The drama which really got me hooked was Itazura Na Kiss too!

It was a repeat on Saturday afternoons in 2001 and during that time the Japanese dramas (and fashion and other stuff) was at its peak. I watched a couple of Japanese dramas before Itazura Na Kiss but I just watch and think it's nice, not bothered to go and find more information on it until Itazura Na Kiss...

Then I got hooked, go on the internet to find more information and eventually landed up here Smile But I didn't register and go on the forum until a few months later LOL...
