My first dorama must be"Summer Snow". It was such a magnificent movie altough sad ending. When I saw for the first episode, I got hooked. the act of Tsuyoshi Dohmoto and also Ryoko Hirosue were so natural and also romantic plus the plot was so good. So for everyone that haven't yet watched it, you must watch, OK!!! w00t!

first was 101 kaime no puropozu.. which leads to Hitotsu yane no shita.. but Long Vacation is the one which got me hooked.. there are periods in my life when i lost touch with japanese dorama.. but an issue of J-point with the dorama synopsis (Hong Kong magazine which just ended it's run), Kimutaku's drama, and this seemingly unrelated source - Mitsuru Adachi's manga~

all the above never failed to lure me back.. = )

Hello guys!

its my first time to post.

It all started with "long vacation" when it was being shown in hongkong which i was happen to be there. They actually show it at around 1:30 am and there we were, watching the show. Neverthless, i was only able to watched the latter part of the series. That was last 2001. I cant understand japanese but know some words but the good thing is the one that was being shown at that time has an english subtittle.

Then it comes "love generation" ..

Now, i bought the VCD copy of these two series here in taipie but there is no english subtittle. But, i just downloaded the synposis and i have to go over with it maybe later..

Right now, "you are my only madonna..and i love her" is being shown here with only 1 last episode left which will beshown on monday. But still, no english subtittle,. But its ok.. somehow i relate their actions to what they are saying but i know i miss most of the thoughts .

By the way, im a filipino and currenly here in taipei. I dont know why TV stations in my country doesnt show japanese series.. Right now, they only show taiwanese and koreans series..

later!

GTO - I was looking for the anime at the time cause my brother wanted it. Someone on the network at my school had it so I grabbed it off that person since it was really simple and quick.

Turned out to be the live action but I still enjoyed it a lot. From there, I didn't watch much dorama, mostly anime. That was about two years ago, then this summer while looking for anime I downloaded the You're Under Arrest Live Action series. Don't know if that counts as dorama but it got me hooked on live action shows. Then it went on to Friends - Love Generation - Long Vacation - Beautiful Life - Good Luck - Summer Snow

Still trying to decide what my next one will be, either Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 or Manatsu no Merry Christmas. I would like to watch either Hero, Pride or Gokusen, but I haven't finished getting them and it's proving to be rather difficult to get them.

Well, I was originally got hooked by Taiyou no Kisetsu because it was the very first japanese drama I ever watched! That was when I became obssessed with japanese dramas. And it was then I became a fan of Hideaki Takizawa (Takky), and Ikewaki Chizuru. After I watched it, I thought it was the best japanese series ever! But of course, I didn't know very much about what is a good japanese drama, since it was the very first japanese drama I watched. And as I watched more and more japanese dramas, for me personally, each drama was just as good as the last! Mr Green

But none of them were as good as Gokusen! Just after the first episode, I got hooked on it straight away! w00t! One reason is because it was so much different to Taiyou no Kisetsu! Taiyou was a dark and rather depressing drama, while Gokusen was a bright and exciting drama, not to mention more enjoyable! Another reason Gokusen got me hooked was because I am a huge fan of Yukie Nakama and Jun Matsumoto, so I was really happy they both were the main leads in the drama! Lovey Eyes w00t!

The first jdrama I got hooked on was Koi ga Shitai x3. I watched alot of dramas before that because my parents watched them, but I don't remember any...Probably because I never understood what was going on.
