I bought Gokusen VCDs that had Chinese subtitles and I was able to get the HK DVDs to the anime. Quite frankly, I thought the anime wasn't that great compared to the drama. I thought the drama was really awesome and I also thought it was even superior to GTO's. But the anime just had characters that felt more one dimensional and I honestly didn't really like the humor that much. But I am now very interested in reading the manga. By the way as for the anime, when was it licenced? Is it out in the U.S. now?

Yes, the anime is licensed though I do not know whether or not it has come out. Anyway, I have a question. Is there any romantic development between Nakama Yukie and Sawada Shin? I saw the special a few days ago and there was nothing =( .. I really wanted to see some romance between those two since the anime hinted at Sawada Shin liking the Kumiko. _________________ Donna

I loved "Gokusen" series although I have yet to finish watching the entire thing. =( Sigh. I'm waiting for subs. Anyway, since this will be a new class of students and such, what's going to happen to Sawada Shin and the other 4 main characters? I actually wanted to see more of them and more of a romantic development between Matsumoto Jun and Nakama Yukie. =P _________________ Donna

Akame (kattun) will be in it. Jin as sawada if I'm not wrong.. I can see jin and kame acting. and jin as a bad boy? can't wait...

i've watched gokusen 1, and love it. awaiting gokusen 2. hoping gokusen 2 would be as good as gokusen 1, or even better

I heard about Gokusen Returns and Gokusen Special. Can anyone enlighten me.. what's it all about.. I heard bout them way before Gokusen 2...

Well, Gokusen special is about class 3D's graduation. (whether or not they graduate u might want to watch it yourself) Quite interesting !! If you are from Singapore, you can find the Gokusen Special at TS video stores. Last spotted at Suntec City outlet.. hope this helps

i've seen the series, but i haven't watched the special yet ;( it's very hard to get j-dorama vcds from here.. anyway, it's my fav dorama ever ^^ i can't wait to see gokusen season 2..
