when i used to live at the arcades, i'd see these old guys come in, and play some kind of game, and i'd think to myself - man, what a waste of a quarter! he didn't even last three opponents!

haha, guess you're older than me hehe but one of the first arcadegame that got me hooked was definitely Operation Wolf, man who doesn't love that Uzi w00t! other favorites were Final Fight, Wonderboy, Golden Axe, Midnight Resistance, to name a few. I still regard those my best (arcade) gaming memories. Not to mention all those vertical shooters of which I don't remember the names anymore Bonk

i remember a lot of those. i died too fast in op wolf! i also loved r-type, tempest, gauntlet and mortal kombat. but the game most addicting to us was tournament cyberball!! we used to stay out at the arcade till 5 A.M.!! Crazy Shake Head needless to say that we were pretty good at it, and we met a lot of people through that game - friendly opponents.

when working there is no dreaming during the evening. there is only nightmares. first having a good dream about marrying idol and then all of a sudden a coworker or boss will show up in the dream and turn it into a nightmare and then cannot sleep for the rest of the evening. so what is the point of dreaming, it will just turn into a stink nightmare.

Perhaps dreams/nightmares are useless. But the thing is that we have no control over them. They just happen. You just have to learn to embrace them.

so desu ne...sodesuka..*cough* Beaten

Basically when working there's no time for you to dream because you have to concentrate on your work. During the evening, I hardly have nightmares because I don't like to whine and complain all the time which in result may create anxiety thus leading to nightmares. Having a good dream is actually depends on how you deal your life in reality. If you're happy then you hardly have any nightmare.

There's no way that we can control what are we going to dream. If dream can be planned jeez...I've made dozen of stories to dream at night. hehe

yeah, i agree. cannot control what we dream about. but seriously, i don't think i can take it anymore. i know for sure i really hate the stink job i have. i should not complain because it helps to pay for bills and stuff but it really is a stink job because don't have vacation, no personal days, no sick leaves, no holiday pay, no benefits, nothing. i really cannot take it anymore and people at the worksite make it even more impossible. there is no more work to do and they won't let me go so that i can get unemployment insurance. i want that damn UI for goodness sakes!!! and they won't let me go because they don't want to give the UI to me. does that stink or what. therefore, now it is affecting me when i sleep. now when i sleep i have nightmare. i would wake up at around 2:00 am in the morning and then not go to sleep. i was having a good dream about marrying an idol and then all of a sudden, the freaking boss, or manager, or coworker i don't like will get into my dream and ruin it completely. it happens every night for the past several weeks. i cannot wait to get out of this sh*t cycle.

hmm, I seem to have this same dream once in a while: I'm in middleschool and I always miss my PE class and people would yell at me hehe

sorta strange, I remember that I rarely missed PE, cos I liked it.

as for dreaming about dying, I used to dream about people who are close to me were dying. really awful, let's not talk about that...

I hope I can dream about something soon.
I just got home (about an hour ago) from working at LV. And I have to open at Marukai tomorrow. Which means (from this point in time) I am only allowed about 5 hours of sleep. Beaten
Shoot.
Doh! Staying on the forum won't help. Beaten Beaten Beaten

I had this funky dream about the government chasing after me and people from my Japanese class (weird, huh?) for trespassing on government property. Coincidentely, my friend ALSO had a dream about the government a few days before me. He concluded that they must be putting something in the water. hehe

Nah, it's because you're not leading a peerless life of exemplary behavior. Rolling eyes
