Well, I'll stick with it for a while, in hopes of subs. (Not to mention Ryoko's appearance.)

But as far as the food goes...

That's food?

From what bmw and MCB have talked about, there are moments of delicious food. I don't know if the two dishes on Sunday were delicious. Sweat But it looked alright, I guess.

Now that's food.

And I hope Ryoko shows up soon, because I know you. That Ryoko disc collection is gonna end up being 18 hours long, and it's gonna take you five years to collect and edit it to your satisfaction.

You might be right: I've exceeded one DVDR already after Betsy-chan sent me that 45-minute NHK interview (no subs, but who cares)...

I might have to change my compression settings to jam everything onto one disc... Sweat

Don't be ridiculous!

If it takes two discs, or three discs, or nine discs to make it perfect... make it freakin' perfect!

Whatever "Number 1" is, it'll replace the Ikagami Police station show.

Wakabe, the NHK Morning drama will be with us for about a year. It's a long one.

The only guy I recognized in the add for "Number 1" was Nishimura Masahiko. So hopefully, whatever it is, it'll be funny.

From the add, it seems "Number 1" will run on:

February 19th

February 26th

March 5th

How much you wanna bet that with our luck, on March 12th, they start running Ikagami Station #4. Bang Head

#4? Oh yeah.

http://jdorama.com/drama.836.htm

Only in #4, there's no Maho Nonami and no Rina Chinen.

I hope I"m wrong, but so far they've been pretty dedicated to that show. They've shown all of the first 3.

Would be cool to see #4, I happen to enjoy Kochira hon Ikegami, Im a sucker for those kinda cheezy solve the crime type of shows. Hey it could be worse, fuji could've aired Tomb of the Wild Chrysanthemum again. Smile

I like Kochira Hon Ikegami sho too. It is cheesy but enjoyable. I think they will slip in a different show after the mini "Numebr 1" I hope Churasan 7 but have a feeling it will be a drama none of us have heard of. Then after it is over they will have another movie then it will be Kochira Hon Ikegami Sho 4 in about 16-17 weeks if their pattern holds to what they have done in the past. I believe we finally meet the chiefs wife in part 4. I am ok with anything but Project X.

ap,

I hope you're right. I've alwys enjoyed the kinpachi sensei series.

And one of the shorter Churasan series would be cool too. I liked the show... but it just went on too long for me.

As for people liking the "kochira hon ikegami" series... hey, each to their own.

My real problem with it is that usually when I don't care for a series, all I have to do is hold on for a while and it will go away. Most series are only 10 to 12 episodes long.

But this is a case where I didn't like a series, and then they brought it back. And then they brought it back again.
