Im 99% positive that he doesnt *checks*
I just checked on the R1 dvds and onizuka was voiced by Wataru Takagi (english name order)

The "prequal" manga is avaliable in a fan translation I belive (someone told me but I havent seen it yet)

I could've sworn that I read that somewhere, it would make sense if it did, but it's a shame that it probably isn't true.

i have the whole manga series and the anime series downloaded but the drama is my favourite. The cast is amazing and seems really close to the manga.

Dislike the drama.

The anime and manga are cool though.

yupp, that's true....howover there's rumours said that both of them were having some sort of misunderstanding, sorry if that's not the appropriate words. Sorimachi was not happy coz her wife spend more time on the drama set than with him.... Shake Head i read that on local mags.

I don't really get the end of GTO, meaning the special episode!!
Just when Onizuka ist about to tell Fuyutsuki that he wants to merry her,his cell phone rings! The student on the other line needs help and the last thing Onizuka says is "Hokkaido"!
I konw that Fuyutsuki's parents live on Hokkaido, but what does that have to do with this whole last situation????????

I think the movie may be the solution
I havent seen it yet myself but I seem to recall something about it being set in Hokkaido

I would guess that Azusa's father wants Onizuka to sort some kids out :p

*WARNING*

POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD!!

-----------------------------------------------

well...without spoiling too much of the movie....it is based in hokkaido - although it doesnt have a whole lot to do with fuyutski or her parents. in fact...the movie barely states his reason for going there..

The movie has nothin to do with the TV series, totally unrelated. They just wanted to make more money with the cinema release, that's all! Rena Tanaka looks lovely! The movie doesn't have the GTO touch.

yea the movie version is just a spin off for more money, they tried to incorporate some very GTO like things from the manga series but it just wasn't the good ol GTO we know and love. You really should check out the manga if you haven't already, its G-R-E-A-T! And if your a really big GTO fan check out Shonan-jun ai gumi, and BAD BOYS *those are the Manga before GTO that star Onizuka when he was still in Highschool*

Hi I was wondering where the GTO special and movie stood in comparison to the series? What does everybody think??

And have Sorimachi and Nanako done anything else together besides Love Shines Through? They're one of my most favorite couples!

**SPOILER**

I think the movie was ridiculous, Norika Fujiwara was just tagging along. It seemed that they were just trying to milk the cash cow as much as they could.

I think it should have ended more at the drama special, wrapping up the series...Onizuka finally scoring. Plus it added some storylines from the manga/anime never covered in the original series.

Yeah, I got that impression too. Haven't seen either the special or movie, but have no interest in checking out the movie seeing as to how Nanako doesn't even make an appearance. As for the special am awaiting its arrival from onizuka007 - can't wait!
