Actually a lot of the popular stars in HK are already 30 something when they reach the peak of their success, e.g the four Heavenly Kings. In Japan it's almost impossible. Even Takako Tokiwa and Nanako Matsushima are now considered as veteran, and Nanako is not even 30 years old yet. Except for some rare cases, like Nakai and Takuya, where their popularity are beyond words, they are still going strong in the industry, and still stand comfortably among the youngsters today. But in cases such as Masaharu Fukuyama, Yutaka Takenouchi and Takeshi Kaneshiro, you just mention their names and the japanese will go like, Masha who? I think she played the "bald girl" character in the Irresistible piggies. She was funny, anyone mentions "bald" and she goes berserk, i mean really violent.

Yeah, in the movie, she had no hair until the end part of the movie. It was hilarious, a Romantic Comedy Movie. 4 girlfriends, they were called piggies because people took them as smart but ugly people.
One with baldness, one with a huge birthmark in the face, one with small eyes and huge teeth, and another one has a hormone problem(grows hair all over her body).
My chinese friend lended the VCD to me, with Eng. sub, and I hesitated at first(no offense, never watched Chinese movies, except Jackie Chan's and Jet Li), but when I saw the first few minutes, I knew I was hooked and finished right through the end. Really great. Recommended, you can get the VCD's, I think at your local China Town.
Didn't know her before, but she was really pretty. I was wondering who she was but now I know.
