Hi everyone, i'm a 14yr-old girl living in Sengkang, haha
Hi m|rA|!! I'd watched Last Quarter 2 months back at Cathay. The show was simply too great for me !!! I understand the whole plot as the movie goes on and on. As the movie tickets are won in lucky draw by U-Weekly mag, the cinema had only around 40 ppl in there. Me and my cousin of my age were discussing about the plot and we speak so loudly, but no one cares about it, hahaha

Hi zi91, I had just started reading the manga after my friend recommended it to me when I found out that Cathay was going to screen it. So went to watch with my friends. Not many ppl inside, mostly Hyde fans I guess. My friends are Kuriyama Chiaki fans so they agreed to watch with me. Actualli, for me, I didn't really like the movie. Maybe cos I was reading the manga at that time and alot of things were different. I felt that they were trying to make the movie too gothic. Maybe coz i liked the manga so much that's y I found it hard to accept the movie when they changed too many things. My friends enjoyed it though. And Narimiya Hiroki was so cute... <3

I think only recently Cathay has started screening more Japanese movies. Which is good. Though I think they pick and choose the ones that are hits in Jpn and other countries like Taiwan and HK and the horror ones. Usually those are the ones that will bring in $$. Just watch finish 'Kamikaze Girls' (ȕ / Shimotsuma Monogatari) and think it's very good. Hope Cathay brings this in cos the one I watched was w/o subs so some parts hard to understand. And not to forget Cutie Honey! Heard alot of favourable reviews so I'm dying to watch it.
Btw, GV is now showing 'About Dogs' (ʂ̂ / Inu no Eiga) Maybe you'll like to catch that, starring Nakamura Shidou, Ito Misaki, Otoha, Kimura Tae and Konishi Manami among others.

Otoha was in 'You're Under Arrest'. Kimura Tae has been in a number of dramas, she usually plays bit roles or supporting characters but I think she's a good actress.
