I've always been a fan of Chis Jericho. Wrestling isn't as good as it used to be to me anymore. I have spells like this though. For instance, I was a die hard fan between the ages of 3 and 11. Then I lost interest. Then my senior year of high school (2000) I was a fan yet again. Now I'm not such a huge fan. I'll still sit down and watch some of my old favs. though. Like Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Edge, Matt Hardy, and Lita. I miss the Dudley Boyz and Jeff Hardy though Shameful Cry.

And the Rock Good

Is it possible that we keep ONLY ONE thread regarding wrestling??????

II: John Ceno,
I merged your wrestling threads together. No reason why there should be two threads regarding the same wrestling organization.

WWE Raw Presents UNFORGIVEN
Live on Pay-Per-View

Big Show vs Snitsky

You can bet that this match wont feature any hurricanranas, head scissor take downs or moonsaults. What this match does promise is some brutal, hard-hitting, smash-mouth action. Big Show is the biggest man in sports-entertainment today. Hes a real-life, walking and talking giant. And Snitsky has done more than just wake this giant, hes down-right pissed him off.

Getting on the bad side of a giant isnt usually one of the smartest things someone can do, but so far Snitsky has gotten the best of Big Show. Big Show dominated a handicap match a couple weeks ago on RAW, but his post-match celebration was short-lived as Snitsky rained on his parade. Snitsky stormed the ring from out of nowhere and savagely attacked Big Show. After taking down the big man, Snitsky grabbed the ring bell and bashed it into the back of his head two times, leaving Big Show flat on the mat.

One week later, Snitsky picked up a victory over an injured Matt Hardy. Following the victory, Snitsky retrieved the ring bell once again. Big Show tried to make the save, but he was too late. Snitsky, just as he did to Big Show, bashed Hardys head with the bell. Snitsky was able to escape through the crowd before Big Show could get his hands on him. But there will be nowhere for Snitsky to escape to at Unforgiven. Will Big Show get his revenge or will Snitsky continue his reign of terror against Big Show?

Edge vs (Sensei of Mattitude) Matt Hardy
Steel Cage Match

Matt Hardy and Edges rivalry has progressed to such lengths that it must be settled inside a steel cage. This comes after RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff originally slated for the two Superstars to settle things in a RAW Street Fight several weeks ago. Both Edge and Hardy risked life and limb to come out on top. The action spilled up the ramp and onto the stage. Edge avoided a Twist of Fate and Hardy eluded the Spear, but Hardy was able to deliver the Side Effect off the side of the stage sending both men crashing into electrical equipment.

Bischoff took notice and realized he had to up the ante once again in order for Hardy and Edge to settle things, setting up a Steel Cage Match for Unforgiven. Hardy gladly signed the contract, but after vowing that Matt Hardy will not die, Bischoff ordered him to face Snitsky in a tune-up match despite the fact he was in no condition to compete. Hardy gave it a valiant effort, but Snitsky brutalized the already-injured Hardy. After the match, Snitsky continued the punishment and bashed in the back of Hardys head with the ring bell. Will Hardy be able to recover in time for Unforgiven?

Shawn Michaels vs Chris Masters

Shawn Michaels is an iconbut Chris Masters thinks that HBKs time has come and gone. The Masterpiece is young, powerful and as cocky as they come and thus far hes been able to back it up. Masters thinks that his time is now to rise to the top of WWE, and he wants to start by taking out Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven.

A few weeks ago on RAW, Masters interrupted Shawn Michaels while he was addressing the crowd. The cocky youngster said it was time for HBK to pass the torch. HBK, however, refused to give up the spotlight that easily and eventually signed on to take the Master Lock Challenge.

Michaels finally got his chance at the Master Lock Challenge, one week later though. After Masters applied the hold, it looked like HBK would be able to do what no one else had been able to do in five months and break the hold. But Masters hit Michaels with a Chair, busting his head wide open and then reapplied the hold. After being hit with the chair, HBK could not come back and break the hold and passed out. Will things be different when the two square off in a one-on-one contest?

(The Nature Boy) Ric Flair vs Carlito
Intercontinental Championship Match

The Nature Boy Ric Flair has had one of the most illustrious careers in sports-entertainment history. He is a 16-time World Champion and has held just about every championship there is to hold but not the Intercontinental Championship. Flair will get his chance to make history yet again at Unforgiven when he goes one on one with Carlito.

Flair was a guest on Carlitos Cabana a couple of weeks ago, but Carlito wasnt the most gracious of hosts. In fact, he went so far as to spit pieces of an apple into the Nature Boys face. The following week, Flair was scheduled to team up with Shawn Michaels to take on Carlito and Chris Masters. Before the match even took place, though, Flair was found a bloody mess backstage. Carlito eventually revealed that he was the culprit.

After verbally bashing Flair once again on his Cabana, Carlito was interrupted as the Nature Boy hit the ring and chased the host off with a series of low blows. This one has clearly gotten personal. Can Carlito continue his hot-streak as Intercontinental Champion? Or will the Dirtiest Player in the Game take Carlito to school as promised?

John Cena vs Kurt Angle
WWE Championship Match

WWE Champion John Cena has been on a roll ever since coming to RAW. General Manager Eric Bischoff has tried time and time again to stack the deck against Cena and strip him of his WWE Championship. But time and time again, the Champ has pulled through with his trademark spinner championship belt around his waist. Cena was even able to defeat Chris Jericho in a Youre Fired Match where not only his championship was on the line, but also his livelihood. But Bischoff has just upped the ante.

On the Aug. 22 edition of RAW, after Cena defeated Jericho in the Youre Fired Match, Kurt Angle viciously attacked the WWE Champion and let him know that he was the new No. 1 Contender. One week later, Cena called out the Olympic Gold Medalist, but Angle was hesistant to respond. With his WWE Championship Match already secured for Unforgiven, he didnt want to do anything to jeopardize his shot at the gold. Cena was able to get under his skin, though, and got Angle to charge at him in the ring. Angle immediately went for the Ankle Lock, but Cena was able to kick out of it before he locked it in. Will that be a sign of things to come at Unforgiven or will the Olympic Gold Medalist lock in his deadly hold?

WATCH a preview of the match.

When I was a kid I really liked the Rockers and the Junkyard Dog. I also liked the Legion of Doom, Jake the Snake Roberts, and the Million Dollar Man Ted DB something or other. I had a slight crush on Ricki the Dragon Steamboat too Naughty.

Changing Friday Nights
September 9, 2005

If the inaugural Friday Night SmackDown is any indication of whats in store for WWE fans on this new night, then look out.

The historic night was capped by an amazing performance by Batista, who retained the World Heavyweight Championship in an exhausting and bloody Bull Rope Match against JBL.

Early in the match, Batista had the advantage, sending JBL into two of the four corners necessary to collect the win. But JBL responded with a vicious clothesline to steal the momentum.

JBL actually managed to light up three corners, but was dragged from the fourth, just inches away from tapping the turnbuckle and winning the World Heavyweight Championship.

Both desperate men even used the legal cow bell to deliver punishing shots to the head!

Eventually, Batista put JBL in a choke hold and dragged him to the first three corners. But as Batista tapped each turnbuckle, a crafty JBL followed with a tap of his own, although Batista didnt realize.

Finally, as both men approached the final corner, a reeling JBL stunned Batista with an elbow and went for the victory, only to be dragged away by an alert Batista.

Batista followed with a Batista Bomb and then tapped the final corner for the impressive victory.

Eddie Guerrero was desperate for revenge when the former friends and tag team partners settled their differences in a steel cage.

Guerrero had never beaten Mysterio, but that was before Friday night as Latino Heat outlasted a game Mysterio to finally collect a victory over the man that has caused him so much pain.

Eddie and Rey traded one painful maneuver after another. At one point, both men were straddling the top of the cage, with both nearly falling off.

Mysterio, who was nursing a sore knee late in the match, even attempted a flying cross body from the top of the cage.

But Eddie rolled out of the way, which literally opened the door for a Guerrero win. With Mysterio writhing in pain, Eddie easily could have walked out of the cage, but he came back for one last Frog Splash and the pin.

United States Champion Chris Benoit had another quick night of work, defeating Orlando Jordan in an ultra-quick 22.5 seconds. Jordan actually started the match with a strong right hand that sent Benoit to the mat.

But Benoit recovered, and a few seconds later, Jordan was tapping out to the Crippler Crossface once again.

Benoit, who won the United States Championship from Jordan in 25.5 seconds at SummerSlam, needed only 23.4 seconds last week on SmackDown to defend the championship.

The action-packed first-half of the show, which can be seen exclusively on WWE.com, included Heidenreich and Road Warrior Animal defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against MNM.

Animal was nearly smashed in the head with his own belt in this match, but he was able to recover and turn the tables on MNM, using the belt while the referee was down.

Meanwhile, Undertaker didnt think too fondly of the Ortons generosity, as he ominously set the large Retirement Fund check on fire, stunning Randy and Cowboy Bob. General Manager Theodore Long later made a match between Randy Orton and Undertaker for next week.

Also, Ken Kennedy remained red-hot as he defeated Paul London with his Green Bay Plunge.

Meanwhile, newcomer Paul Burchill defeated Scotty 2 Hotty with a painful shoulder submission move. Before the match, he declared he was the most dangerous import since fellow Brit William Regal arrived on the scene.

MATCH RESULTS:

Ken Kennedy def. Paul London
Paul Burchill def. Scotty 2 Hotty
United States Champion Chris Benoit def. Orlando Jordan
World Heavyweight Champion Batista def. JBL
WWE Tag Team Champions Legion of Doom def. MNM
Eddie Guerrero def. Rey Mysterio (Steel Cage)
