Yay!! haha, congrats!
Kao
HYDE's COUNTDOWN won the first week, NO.1
(maybe you know)
I'm happy for HYDE, but I feel complicated... I love L'arc far more...
Mastu
Summary
interviewer: "GLAMOUROUS SKY" got 1st on the sales chart.
hyde: I'm glad, I think it's becouse of the power of NANA the manga and not my power, but I'm glad purely.
interviewer: I'm gonna sing in karaoke box (lol)
but the tune is super high.
hyde: really? becouse I made it for girls keys. I thought girl's keys are over than my limit.
interviewer: I'll challenge.
how was the ASIA tour? (this interview placed right after Korea concert)
hyde: Korea was, "hot"
interviewer: I gess so.
hyde: it's not about the wether.(lol)
I felt the "hot" enegy from fans who had waited for us for long years,
It's a happy thing there are many people who are waiting for us.
I also thought they were cute.
interviewer: Is it true you spoke Korean in your MC?
hyde: Of course (lol)
I was obstinate about it a little (lol)
Becouse I spoke English in America, so I thought it's different if I speak in Japanese, or English in Korea.
I thought I should speak in Korean in Korea.
interviewer: Great.
hyde: Korean and Japanese are similar in grammer, so it wasn't so difficult to remember in that meaning... But I forgot them completly now.(lol)
interviewer: it's wastful story. you might go there again someday though.
hyde: Ah, I wanna be there again. the moving thing was, everybody sang in Japanese even they didn't speak Japanese.
interviewer: it's touching.
Next is about your solo work, single COWNTDOWN.
it's the theme song of STELUS (? I don't know the spelling of this movie)
in Japanese dab varsion.
hyde: I heard this offer around in the end of March.
and I've heard the rough story of the movie, but I didn't have almost any information. I've just watched the preview.
interviewer: so you made this song from that preview?
hyde: maybe it's from the name of "Stelus"?
I know that plane since ago, and it's like GANDAM (I don't know that spelling too, sorry. it's Japanese famous old anime) for the current generation. That impressed me "There is such a plane" at that time I know it the first time.
interviewer: that's the impression.
hyde: the crue was from the image that "What song can be cool when you see the scene of flying that plane"
I thought it in the pure entertainment. like kid's feeling "Stelus is cool!"
like "GANDAM is cool!" (lol)
interviewer: did you watch the movie already?
hyde: the flying scenes were so cool. I was get in the story.
interviewer: it's likely "a boy".
hyde: I guess so... maybe? (lol)
interviewer: what about the lyrics?
hyde: I made the melody with feeling cool, but the lyrics is not related with that, and I wrote the thing I wanna appeal, I wanna use them in my lyrics.
interviewer: I felf your strong heart to think about the piece in the world.
is it right?
hyde: it is.... yeah (lol)
interviewer: then, could you tell us the best point of the movie?
hyde: Only in Japanese dab var. has my song, so I haven't listened my song yet. (lol)
interviewer: really (lol)
BTW, the side B song of COWNTDOWN is EVERGREEN that aranged song from original single, but you played that song in your solo concert, didn't you?
hyde: yep, I did. it's a developed varsion.
it's more arranged than that time.
interviewer: Did you make both them in heavy sounds on purpose?
hyde: right, when I had the concert "666", I didn't have enough songs, so I arranged some songs that arranged varsions from album ROENTGEN.
EVERGREEN was much fan to play, so I've been thinking about put this song into the single someday.
interviewer: So you made it.
And you have a schedule to make a new album.... do you?
hyde: I have a couple songs recoded in the recoding of the single.
So I'm gonna make 2/3!
Actually I wanna make them in the tour of L'arc, but I couldn't at all (lol)
interviewer: So you have to make them at once from now on.
hyde: yes, and I'm thinking about concerts too.
interviewer: sounds exciting! BTW, I heard you gonna attend the event concert in "club titta Kawasaki" in the end of October.
hyde: actually, I booked that place since 1 year ago.
And just about that time, KAZZ was playing in "titta", I heard that they decolate Halloween style all over the concert place, and I thought that's good idea to book now! (lol)
We don't think that concert is a competition, but we are thinking having a big party with close people. And thet is the restart point of my solo work.
interviewer: I have to be in costume? becouse the title of the event is "HALLOWEEN OF THE LIVING DEAD"
hyde: Of course, otherwise you are not allowed to come in. (really?)
Even you, the staff of magazine, reporters, must do something to come in.
Don't destroy our party. (lol)
interviewer: so you also gonna wear costume?
hyde: I'll see my best. (lol)
I made this roughly and haven't review. so sorry if you find something wrong, and it's summary but serious translation.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But most of the time the rankings don't make sense. It's all dependent on media exposure, consumer whimsy, and the trend of the moment. The movie tie-in for COUNTDOWN was "Stealth" BTW

Wasn't there a L'Arc track on the Godzilla (American remake 1990-something) Soundtrack? Or was that Gackt... or Orange Range... or someone? I can't remember...
