OMG i just finished watching episode 5!!

i was really surprised as well at how they condensed so many volumes into ONE episode... but i think that they did a good job of it, and it was def surprising to me so i was kinda happy about that

as for what sunmoon said, i kinda do agree...

i kidna didnt like how makino didnt really get beaten up in the beginning except her leg and i was ilke what is that, and plus i wanted that scene where domyoji saves her from like everyone beating the crud out of her and then he says i believe u or whatever, ok so maybe im just a sap but i was waiting for that.. i guess thats what the whole sakurako part was but still... and yea i def like soujirou more now!!! hehe hes like cute and funny! esp. how he was hitting on all those girls... rofl. the mother tho, domyojis mother... oh gawd. shes sooo freaky. and i dunno what the jacket was when she came and threw the pics on the floor but it made he look so short and i just did not like that outfit haha. ok i dunno why im critiquiing outfits but.. anyway... and the ending OMG i LOVE IT! SOOOO GOOOOOD!! the cute lil playful fighting b/w makino and tsukasa and then HANAZAWA RUI HAS RETURNED!!! omgg i SO knew it was coming but it was SOO good! their expressions were priceless! ahhhhh! canNOT wait for epi6!!! how i wish there would be more than 9 eps..... and poor jun.. he gets the **** beaten out of him... and yet in the beginning of the ep, makino barely has more than a scratched knee and arm... haha... whats up with that...

after ep 5, i realized again why hyd never really warmed up to me even when i skimmed through mg a few yrs ago, flipped through the manga and watched a few eps of the anime... i was trying too hard to like the story coz everyone say so...

gosh, i've come to admit i'm no hyd story fan...

but i'll still watch it for jun coz i'm a big jun fan and his acting is suggoi in it...

ok, makino, dom, dom's mom, sakurako's acting in ep 5 was splendid.

i must give credit to everyone's effort at trying to keep this drama at a professionally high standard!

i think the production and the acting from the key characters make hyd exciting to watch...

(though it can't save the storyline... ok, i'm not a fan of this genre of fantasy, so hyd fans please ignore me on this... this is only a very personal remark!)

but i must say, next week's ep is gonna be probably better! it looks like it has less of the stuff that irks me in this week's ep!! yay!!!

ahhhh i loved this episode too!!! especially the ending. and no complaints about the costumes! except, doesn't it seem like shouta always wears the same thing over and over again? but he's getting cuter and cuter! everybody is! well except the guy that plays akira.....

i loved when jun hugged makino!! ahhhh!!! i just went crazy and started squealing and stuff!!! chooo choo chooo kawaii!! and the beating up part, so heart wrenching. oh and when jun was waiting for her to feed him the food, total momo flashback!!! it's tooooooo goood!!!! but shouta looks so cute with the scarf somehow. maybe jun is wearing a fur coat to blend in with the animals at the zooo. hehehehe. sakurako loooked SOOO ugly when she was her true self. seriously. *shudders* women can be scary sometimes. oh and did you notice that they were playing beyonce's crazy in love at the store? hehe. ah mita?! makino was jealous!!

booooo, it's already 5 out of 9 episodes. i wonder what i'll do when it ends. it's really my weekend picker upper. i was feeling kinda sad cuz i didn't get to see harry potter with my friends because the tickets were sold out but hana yori dango cured everything~!

btw, i kinda agree with what fybabe said...about the story line etc...

in my personal oppinion, a couple of years ago when people crazy about MG, i believe they like MG because the story line of it is like a dream....like 21th century cinderella...however, because some people already watched MG, watched hyd anime and read the manga...we will think 'ah the topic its the same' and altho they change the story, we can already predict the outcome [like what happen when i watched MG, coz i already watched the anime at that time]...especially when we already know 'its just a fantasy..that will never happen in the real world'....that will definatelly contribute on our judgement..

however....the casts of HYD are really amazing...the story telling, its better and its straight into the point...up until now, i think this is the best version of HYD after the manga it self the third one is the anime....i dont really like MG [sorry for MG fans >.<]

im kind of disappointed with episode 5. i dunno. maybe cause i barely understand how they switched it around differently than from the manga. maybe cause i thought the mango way was better

i do agree with everyone so far that makino definitely didn't get pick on enough. it would have been more realistic but i still think it was great. tsukasa is so sWEETT =). i love his character and jun himself too^^. sakurako is really ugly even in the early episode. now i think she is even more ugly. her teeth are weird. and when she is evil. i thought her eyes was gonna pop out~ also the part when sakurako has the knife on makino and tsukasa is being beat up. i would have thought that makino get out of her situation and helped him. but she didn't. maybe cause her hands were tied. and the HUG omg... so cute... if only they showed her hugging him BACK~ that would be PERFECT!! and lastly... AHHHHHHHH the ending. i DON"T. DON"T. DON"T want rui to come back. he is going to ruin all the cute scenes of tsukasa and makino (i love how they fight) makino better not go running to rui.. cause i think tsukasa has done WAY enough to show that his love for her is real. or maybe i just can't get enough of jun questions time: um... what is up with tsukasa's mom. she is spying on her son. and not letting him see her. cause makino is poor? is that it? and at the end before tsukasa hugged makino. did he say something along the lines of "i like you"???? my japanese really stinks...

For now, I'm resisting the spoilers until I watch ep. 5 for myself in..4 HOURS Hopefully I wont go nuts in the mean time.

Been meaning to post but realize dmy account is gone.

I'm enjoying the dorama too albeit fast-paced and knowing it will only be 9 episodes long makes me wish it will be extended.

Episode 4 is still my favorite out of the 5 so far. I love the elevator scenes.

Episode 5, it's funny how everyone rushed to download it as soon as it came out (er... I'm one of them) but this episode really gave me the creeps with Sakurako. I was sitting at the edge of my chair really.

I also thought the preview for the next ep looked pretty funy considering what Jun is wearing. That huge animal skin around him looks so weird. I don't think they have the time to add in Yuuki and Soujirou's relationship though. Or maybe will they if there is a second season?
