I used to be really into anime, but since I started watching jdoramas, I don't watch it as much.

Same here, haven't really watched anything major since the summer when I started marathon upon marathon of jdrama series  . It seems to me that jdramas provide more realism than anime but still retain the creativity of plot and character development (particularly since some are still based on mangas) which keeps me continually hooked on them ^_^

check this out...and people may think ComicCon or Anime Expo is crazy big.
Colossal comic convention kicks off in Tokyo
Comic-book fans piled into Tokyo's Big Sight exhibition venue on Thursday and Friday as Comic Market 69, Japan's largest comic convention, was held, spreading information on self-published comics, video games and related material.
A total of about 400,000 people were expected at the market, dubbed Comiket, over its two days. The hit drama "Densha Otoko" and the "moe" boom marked by an attraction to anime-style characters fuelled interest in the event, and requests from reporters to cover it flooded in.
A total of about 24,000 comic circles were expected at the market.
On Thursday fans of the "Kido Senshi Gandamu Seed" (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed) group gathered together. Other gatherings included those for followers of "Tenisu no Ouijsama" (Prince of Tennis) and "Naruto." Fan circles for "Final Fantasy" and other games were also seen at the market.
"Gundam Seed," whose anime series finished on television in October, stood out at the event, with visitors forming long lines to join the fan circle.
Mostly video games and creators' groups were scheduled to appear at the market on Friday. (Mainichi)

I was being a smartass. The name of the anime is "Yu Yu Hakusho", is it not? I've never seen it, but "hakusho" means "white paper in Japanese. However, you wrote "hakushu", which means "applause".
