What you think of Ayase Haruka?
When at the scene, if theres something funny, she will always join in the
laugh. Even though I have chatted with her, but I think she is very pretty,
like a big sister. Has very big eyes and nice skin!
What you think of Izumisawa Yuuki?
Kawaii.! Speaking of personality and shyness, he is kawaii!. Because I am
older than him, I cannot speak to him loudly!

This easily will be one of the big dramas of the year! (Obviously along with worthy contenders SAIYUUKI and RONDO)
All of these actors--both child and adult--are currently hot and in the limelight quite a bit. I think it was a good choice to use them, but I am still iffy on the Ayase Haruka casting...something about her doesn't strike me. Though, it must be said that she is the only female actress in her age group getting such serious roles.
In any case, I also was really emotional when I watched this drama. Very few mainstream dramas in Japan bother to talk about such taboo subjects such as rape or child pornography/exploitation. This drama adaptation of the novel is going to be very interesting to watch.
As with any movie or tv show that deals with such a scary issue, I always wonder what they're doing to ensure understanding and a high level of comfort for the child actors...?

hmm that's a profound question... i've never thought of that question before though....
This will also be released in english hard subs later on.
Only question is when
do u know what fansub team is doing it? so i should stop downloading the RAW right b/c im currently dling episode 2 already and i have yet to watch 1 in case someone softsubs it but so far u knwo that it's goin gto be hardsubbed only???

Just watched ep 2. Makes me recalled what Yamada has said. It was something like; usually it's 50% fun : 50% sadness but in this show it's 85% sadness. I agree ;__; Maybe they should reduce the focus on sadness a bit. It's obvious enough that it's a desperate situation no need to push it more.
We begin to see the main characters personality now. Ayase is playing a strong will girl. Yukiho sure know how to make things goes her way and Ryou on the other hand is very insecure. I like Takeda who plays the old policeman a lot. He sure plays it well, everytime he appeared I worried for Ryou or Yukiho. Splendid actings
just finished episode one.. thank you yt for posting the chinese subtitles... im actually glad that i can read chinese now... all the effort in chinese school have finally paid off
right now i feel kinda of disturb and excited about ep2... i guess the two children actors was so good.. i feel really uneasy~ very suspenseful and dark... spooky... at the end i cried a little bit too... so sad... can't wait to see more of yamada =)
