I think you might be correct.

I just saw that someone posted the SoCal version of Ep1 part 1 to d-addicts.

Man, that is quick.

Wonder if there's any reason for me to record the thing if someone else is doing it.... Sweat

Please continue to do so. The uploader mentioned the reception was less than stellar, and quality was sacrificed to boost the brightness of the capture.

Okie dokie.

If the quality was that bad, seems pointless for that person to upload the thing in the first place... Sweat

BMW,

Why consider taping the thing?

Because there are no guarantees with this stuff.

I'm as fanatical and anal about collecting this stuff as anyone... but my computer ate episode 39 of Yoshitsune. the cable company was sending a fuzzy picture for episodes 43 and 44. And I had a power out for episode 47.

It's good to have people backing you up.

You all probably already noticed, but they're going to be showing next Saturday's lineup the next day on Sunday afternoon from 12:00 PM (noon) to 3:00 PM. Starting with Egao no Housoku and running through the lineup. (They also note that it'll be Yoshitsune's final episode.)

But one thing I noticed is that in the place of IQ Sapuri will be something called D no Gekijo. I did a quick google search using the Japanese name and I came up with this site. The preview looks scary.
http://www.fujitv.co.jp/dgeki/index2.html

I wonder if IQ Sapuri is finished already or if the last episode is playing tonight. (Of course, there's an outside possibility that they're filling in until there are more IQ Sapuri episodes -- he said hopefully.)

WHOA. Are they starting the new taiga drama 2/4?

D no ... uh .. WTF?
It's cool that it's the jazz singer from Wakaba, but this looks like bad outtakes from the Lifetime channel.
Bring back my IQ Supli!

Yup. A new Taiga starting on Feb. 4th.

Wish they'd had time to sub the preview, and the little promo video they showed. I have no idea what this new show is called, or what it's about.

And yeah, the final half episode for Yoshitsune will be shown on Sunday afternoon.

As I've said before... they don't make this easy.

The title of the Taiga Drama (at least) is:
Koumyou ga Tsuji

During this D no Gekijo, I keep trying to figure out what I'd think if I had a bunch of bad actors acting out scenes from my life with a overly dramatic narrator and an audience coming in with "awww" at every melodramatic moment.

According to Wikipedia, it's "Kōmyō-ga-tsuji: Yamauchi Katsutoyo no Tsuma." "Nakama Yukie plays Yamauchi Chiyo, the lead role of the 45th Taiga drama. Kamikawa Takaya plays Katsutoyo, the military commander and daimyo who founded the Tosa han and built Kochi Castle. The story by Shiba Ryotaro spans the closing years of the Sengoku period, the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and the beginning of the Edo period."

I miss IQ Supli. I guess I'm going to have to rent this from the video store now.

Incidentally, did anything notice the extremely-tanned-woman ala George Hamilton??

Both she and the woman with the pinkish-blond hair were kind of creepy.

I believe they're filling in with episodes of D-Gekijo until they're back with more spisodes of IQ Sapuri. On Saturday night after Yoshitsune, the announcement on the screen said: @u]GXehpTvvẍׁ݂AԑgύXĂ͂܂B@(While IQ Sapuri is temporarily off, we present a revised program.)

I hope you're right. I like IQ Sapuri much better than anthing else I've seen in that time slot.

By the way, does anybody know where we are in Ooku `Hana no Ran`? What number episode are we on? I don't follow the series, but I'd like to anticipate when the next series is after it. (My guess is once Aneki is over, it'll be replaced by Sayuuki, and Ooku will be replaced by Unfair.)

Finally, the Divorce Lawyer made a cameo in this last Aneki! I always enjoyed the Divorce Lawyer shows!
