Actually, it's really my first time delving on J-Drama... so far, I've only watched two.
(1) Kimi wa Petto
(2) Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu
'Sekaichu' is really touching, in the sense that I felt depressed. Have you seen it?

We need quality education. The fact remains that the Philippines has a 92% literacy rate (forgot kung saan ko nabasa, supposed to be higher in the past, 98-99%) although not much could be said on the quality of it, when compared to our Asian neighbors.
Actually, the way I see it, there should be a change in attitude and outlook. It doesn't mean that if you're not educated, you cannot lead a productive life.
tama ka diyan, pero isa lang talaga yan sa dapat pag-tuunan ng pansin. hindi lang kasi quality education, pati values training din kailangan ng re-orientation. and i'm not talking about GMRC stuff

Have you taken the JLPT then ? If so, was it hard ?

i'm too idealistic. pwede niyo nako barilin sa luneta.

It's one of those unique "Filipinized" words. It means "to give a solution to".

True. Actually, the learning process of discipline and values should start off at home. The parents are the one who should be teaching this kind of things. The school will do their part, but not that major since the primary objective of school is to educate us, academically. The parents will be molding us to proper values and discipline, and the school will do the finishing touch.

Prepare alot of tissues. As the title says, you'll be pouring that amount of tears . But seriously, talagang nakakaiyak ito. _________________
Actually, MixxDreamer's suggestion is good. That thread has somehow gone off-topic . It has turned out to be an "Anything Pinoy" thread. So I guess you should just merge this one there, change the title to "Anything Pinoy" and move it here to General Discussion section . _________________
