hi everyone! hisashi buri!!

welcome houjou sekira.
hmmn... sekaichu. isn't that the one being compaired to ichi ritoru no namida? haven't seen it though, but they say it's quite good. i'm planning to catch this one, since i've seen ichi. if you liked saikachu, maybe you should see ichi ritoru. i liked it a lot. 1 liter of tears is an understatement. haha.

'Sekaichu' is really touching, in the sense that I felt depressed. Puppy Dog Eyes Have you seen it?

We need quality education. The fact remains that the Philippines has a 92% literacy rate (forgot kung saan ko nabasa, supposed to be higher in the past, 98-99%) although not much could be said on the quality of it, when compared to our Asian neighbors.

Actually, the way I see it, there should be a change in attitude and outlook. It doesn't mean that if you're not educated, you cannot lead a productive life.

i'm too idealistic. pwede niyo nako barilin sa luneta.

It's one of those unique "Filipinized" words. It means "to give a solution to". Bonk

Oh, that thread... I didn't think that this thread shoulda been part of that one, since it's about a Pinoy band, not J-dramas in the Phillipines.

Guh, now what do I do? Head Scratch

Maybe I'll rename this thread to the "Filipino Entertainment Thread" or something... Suggestions?

True. Actually, the learning process of discipline and values should start off at home. The parents are the one who should be teaching this kind of things. The school will do their part, but not that major since the primary objective of school is to educate us, academically. The parents will be molding us to proper values and discipline, and the school will do the finishing touch.

Actually, MixxDreamer's suggestion is good. That thread has somehow gone off-topic Sweat . It has turned out to be an "Anything Pinoy" thread. So I guess you should just merge this one there, change the title to "Anything Pinoy" and move it here to General Discussion section Smile .
