I'm actually just lurking around.
Ooh, planning for a housewarming party on the 22nd of July. Anybody want to come visit Fresno around that time? (it gets around 110degs here)
that's great it must really diffuse those hungry aromas that the cows release every 2 minutes....
my advice...when it's hot in fresno...breathe deeply

I accompanied a friend of mine to the hospital because she had to have eye surgery today. Eeek, eye surgery. Does not sound fun. She was fine with it but the whole idea made me twitchy. She's fine now and is sleeping off all the drugs they gave her. _________________

j/k...that was nice of you to be a friend during a vulnerable, uneasy time for your buddy....a hallmark of a great friend

Lol. Thanks. But I think I was more freaked out about it than she was. She was like, "Oh, I'm just having eye surgery today. No big deal." And I was like, "WHAT?!?" Yea... _________________

well M&M, sometimes it's that steely determination in the face of uncertainty or adversity that makes it possible to deal with life's most difficult moments.

Well I'm not big fan of Depeche, but it was fun . Stadium was in the ghetto outskirts of the city and there was no taxi, no public transport, no nothing, I can't beliuve that promoters didn't think of transportation problem
They wouldn't bother to think of those things.......because all they think of is making money _________________

eye surgery? to improve her vision, to 20/20?
No, it was to fix the placement on her left eye. It points too inward, towards her nose and they wanted to fix that. They had to loosen some muscles so it doesn't pull her eye too much to one side.
Any type of eye surger doesn't sound good to me. I hate the thought of even touching my eye. _________________

thinking of the next week's AX'06, and dreading the long lines, the long wait, just to get a 2 day pass, and/or exhibition hall pass for those days...i keep thinking how long is the wait going to be, i didn't register online, too late for that, gotta do it there and register in person.
but at the same time, i am excited about the AX this year again.
on that note...it is late....work tmrw, and it is the tail end of a work week, yeah!
