If you just go the fifa site: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/
they show the video highlights of the matches.

Wait I thought Crespo (was it?) actually did get his foot on the ball. That's what I saw when they played back the shot.

Yeah... Crespo hit the ball with his shin a little bit but the opposing player took part in the scoring as well... lol. You can say it was half/half effort on their part.

Love how Beckham can just bend it so beautifully like that.
But, if England wants to advance further I don't think they can play 4-5-1 again. They need both Rooney AND Crouch up there.

Holland or Portugal, tough call, somehow I'm leaning more towards Portugal..

Ecuador had a chance to take a 1-0 lead, but that was an excellent free shot from Beckman.

Beckham was about to go out for Crouch, and then he scored that goal. so far that's like the only good thing he's done in the tournament. Ecuador was unlucky that the ball got deflected off Ashley Cole and hit the crossbar, it should have been a goal. oh well.

I'm wearing my dutch jersey tonight, the same one that I bought especially for the semifinals 2 years ago, and Holland lost 2-1

if they lose again tonight, i'm going to set the shirt on fire Beaten
