Rite, Hanayome is out, Im about half through downloading it. Gonna watch it tomorrow when i wake up.. And yup, Regatta is good. I dont get it why ppl say its like Ganbatte Ikimasshoi. Sure the theme is the same, but the plot is different.

Meh, those are probably the same people who said Good Luck!! and Attention Please are the same. Hecka stupid. Just cuz they both take place in air ports, those dramas were TOTALLY different.

People tend to compare one drama with another just have a base on how to rate it ^^;;

well, at least there were two moments where the rest of the group was shown the last bit and the bit where there was confetti(?) all around them.. the white outfits kinda reminded me of NEWS' volleyball cm

and about the dorama comparisons, obviously thats gonna happen. I tot gachibaka was just another GTO or Gokusen but yeah there are differences to it. Good luck is more to piloting rather than a iwannabea Stewardess story..

I haven't seen Ganbette Ikimasshoi or Regatta yet to compare them. But the comparison between Good Luck!! and Attention Please really irks me. Good Luck!!, for one thing, has KimuTaku. Enough said there. It's a much more serious and, er, realistic drama than Attention Please. To me, the only similarity is the airport setting. Sorry if my descrption here offends any fans of Attention Please...

I'm rather enjoying the Kitty GYM thing, in spite of the crappy name. It'll keep me from being too Yamapi-deprived, now that he's not in a drama, and NEWS is still suspended. I kinda wonder what he really thinks about it though. Maybe he's enjoying it, or maybe he hates it. Who knows?

Kinda agree regarding Kitty gYm...dou it gives me more of Yamapi...& G&M is a nice duo..dou they cant really dance well...was quite disappointed watching zoomIn despite e quite easy choreography...Yamapi did a much better job & e song IS very Thai-ish as well as e PV..wonder if THAT is Kitty Gym's concept.
i just find dat yamapi is really a JE toy now.
Ah well...at least he still gets credits for this...& yeah...wld rather have more of e Kitty screentime since e purpose of including them, i believe, is to promote them & each of their groups..esp if they were to debut in e near future.

Its totally obvious and understandable that Yamapi is the main of KGYM. I mean he is probably the most popular young talent in JE(yes, may even surpass kame&jin), so why not use him? This early promoting is probably mostly Pi, but when they do more CM's and appearances, other members will step out too. So please dont bash KittyGYM this early, youve only seen few vids after all

yup yup.. Yamapi is the most well known in the group. For the rest of the members to become more known, the first thing they need to do is to expose the public to the group and attract fans. and that is done by putting Yamapi in the spotlight. Frankly, at the moment, they're using Yamapi's pulling power to pull the fans. Thats the main thing, to get fans. Only then can the others get a bit more attention. Its the same with when NEWS was first formed...

they've still got some more time to go. after all, their single is only going to be released in a bit over a month. plenty of time to get more publicity for the group..

I am just disappointed about him joining Kity gYm..I wasn't bashing Kity gYm or anything..I just couldn't accept the fact about YamaP being in it at all..I am not even sure if I can support Kity gYm..

Well, about Kity gYm, I'm fine with it even though my KITY aren't getting as much attention. But to me Pi seems to be fine or even enjoying to be with Kity gYm. True that it might not be as good as him being with NewS but I really find them enjoying this combination. Some Pi fans in Japan seems to really like G&M as well.

And I think only gYm will be doing the singles/songs. The KITY will appear maybe for PVs or promotional events. Thus of course gYm gets more lime light. But I'm still happy that some Jrs get to participate. Although Kitayama looked sooo obvious that he is really exhausted after he is back from Las Vegas doing Tackey Enbujou, and he became thinner till his pudgey cheeks vanished, but I believe Kity.gYm will cope well, and K.GyM will get better.

So you guys might want to wait for more appearances, and maybe your views might change? =]

Abt G&M's dancing, er, I agree they lack a lil energy and their movement isn't as sharp. But it just started so as time goes I'm sure they will get better. Practice make perfect. You can't compare Pi I guess, Pi has been performing since young, and also he is comfortable around his own fans, familiar faces, and in his own country.

for me, i do not dislike G&M at all..i even listen to some Thai songs & am a Thai drama fan myself..but since eversince tis Kitty GYM is ard, G&M fans sumhow flocked to all possible News & JE forum there r & really promoting them. (salutes e fans ) so since i heard dat they r really good singers & dancers, i expected more. therefore im kinda disappointed when i saw their performance in SC & e PV.
Especially just like Pi, G&M have been performing since young too...well mayb can excused them being slightly shy since its not in their country but then again, they have been performing for JE artist for quite a few times so..............................................

hmm.. I don't know. I'm still of the opinion that its too early to judge Golf & Mike. We only had a few glimpses of their dancing in the PV.. and SC, well, that is a stage already familiar to Yamapi. They might also be nervous, knowing that Yamapi fans (like us ) will be judging them.
Performing for JE artistes during concerts in relative anonymousity is not the same as performing on the same stage as a person idolised by many

and of course, everyone here wants Yamapi to be with NEWS. we wouldn't be NEWS fans if that wasn't what we preferred. but that boy needs to work too , which is what the unit of KGYM are providing him with.

hmm... don't know what to say... I'm a GM fan but I don't go around NewS & Yamapi's forums to promote my artist, instead I've been brought here because this Kitty GYM thing make me curious to know more about Yamapi & his band.

Several Thai audiences including me are eagerly awaited the official release of Yamapi and NewS as well. (Now, NewS is the only JE's popular group that hasn't officially released their stuffs here yet.)

About the perf, I agree with all of you that GM's dance didn't catch up with Yamapi's, especially in the PV. T.T But then again, there're some excuses for them. The thing is Golf & Mike's dance root is B-Boy type....if you ask for breaks, windmills, spins or flips, I bet you'll get better from them. But Johnny's dance style...is very unique...and they're not familiar with it. Moreover, they've got a very less time to prepare for all this. They've already got less time to sleep by their tight schedule in Thailand, and now they're up to the schedule in Japan as well, the result is they looked like Zombies in the PV. T.T

Not only Yamapi being a toy for JE, GM are also a toy to GMM Grammy as well. The project is made to tighten the relationship of JE and GMM or something. 'Cause after the Kitty GYM has been announced, the licenses to distribute KAT-TUN, V6, & ARASHI in Thailand have been changed from EMI & Redbeat to GMM. So, now *all* JE artists are distributing their CDs through GMM. Moreover, GMM will organize the coming Arashi's concert as well. So, you can see that there're JE's 'benefits' out of this. Anyway, we will have to wait and see the benefits toward Yamapi and NewS in Thailand after the single release.

Yay, yay, this is forming into a nice convo! Its been a while since a "debate" like this in NewS thread, and its very nice once in a while ne^^

I think people shouldnt neglet/dislike/etc. KittyGYM because they want Pi back to NewS... since everyone knows that NewS wont come back before next year Pi doesnt have a dorama coming, and he just released a solo single.. so theres not really anything else for him to do now, other than KGYM. Other NewS members have doramas, Keichan is the MC of Shokura, Shige is regularly in Ya3 too. So Pi, even though he is the leader, wouldnt have a lot to do in JE. Thats why everyone should consider this as a good opportunity for him.. he has work and at the same time he gets more popular in Asia than before^^

As for Golf and Mike, I got to knew them because my sister found them somewhere several months and started listening to their music.. so I have listened to G&M too. I have to say that their album seems really good, so atleast they dont lack talent in singing I love their version of Epilogue (of course the original T&T version is the best^^) and other T&T songs theyve sung. Ive gotten the image from several vids that Golf and Mike are big in thailand. Is it true hiraikotsu? Also, thanks for an opinion of a G&M fan. Its nice to hear your opinions as well
