Nope. >>tries<<
Hmmm, for Rina, I got э.
For peace, I got ay.
I found a Japanese Translator and here peace is Piisu.
Have I hit the mark? _________________

I think his name dictionary is accessible via the drop down menu at the top of this page too (JDict-Names), but I have found it most convenient just to pull the entire dictionary into my editor and use regexp searches. |
There's also that cool one that's a plug-in for Firefox, Rikachan (sp?)...

Rikaichan I believe we talked about it in a different thread. I believe it also uses Breen for it's database. So it's the same info, just different interfaces.

Hmm, I think э is "mousaku" (crops), not sure how you got that one for Rina. Rina is not spelled that way in the name dictionary.
Yes, ay "waraku" is peace, but I think it has more of the connotation of "harmony". Maybe the kanji a "heiwa" might be more like the English word "peace". a is used in many Japanese words for things like peace movement and Peace Corps.
