I don't know a lot of these doramas, but 10. Under One Roof 1 is the best dorama I've ever seen in my life.

6) Walk of an Idiot is very dark....read the review I just wrote on this site...it might help. Kind of a love/hate relationship I had with the drama. Tough to watch. BTW, Hirosue Ryoko isn't really the main character in here if you're just gonna watch it to see her.

9) Wife is 3 Stars is just average. It was aired on television in my area. Besides that main girl, the guy from V6 is the other major character. Not many emotional scenes......I don't think it is worth buying.

10) Hitotsu Yane No Shita...one of the best dramas I've ever seen. You must get #2 as well if you're going to watch #1. Many great scenes in both series.

Can someone tell me what they think of of these dramas (how good they are). Also, what is "So Nice To You" about? Also same for First Love?

Golden Bowl
Have not watch it yet. But, I heard it has comical humor! But, I wouldn't count on it, the scriptwriter of this drama, Shinji Nojima, sometimes created dorama stories which are funny but also 'dark' at the same time >_< You can expect something like Food Fight, probably...because it was also written by Nojima. If you like Food Fight, you'll like this one.

Wedding Planner
Haven't watched it either, but I heard good things about it.

So Nice To You
Don't you mean Basically Nice?! The one with Shingo Katori? Similar to the story of 3 men and the baby??
Well, haven't watched it either, but I heard the dorama is just so-so.

First Love
Is this the one with Miki Mizuno & Fujiki Naohito or Watabe Atsuro & Kyoko Fukada?? If it's the latter, then I know nothing about it either =P

Hi Michi,
I have purchased The Wedding Planner and Golden Bowl. I also posted my reviews here already. In general, I'm glad that I have these. These are SWEET doramas that make you feel good after but they are not at the "must buy" classics series level.

They both have the typical routine romantic/comedy dorama storyline:
- A special theme (Bowling & Wedding Planner)
- Unlikely couples (Older woman w/ younger guy and a beauty w/ not so handsome guy)
- In-between mini storylines; I think this allows a team of writers to develop separate pieces...a la HERO! (Different Weddings & Bowling competitions)
- Throw in a blend of Funny and touching moments
- Happy ending that make viewer feel better
- Finally good soundtracks!

Well, maybe I can start writing a dorama script now! HA HA!

I personally loved Wedding Planner...go buy it. I was surprised that Ayumi Ito acted in this one since I haven't seen her much. Every episode is good and I kept wanting to watch more.

I've seen the first 3 episodes of Golden Bowl so far and I'm a bit disappointed. It is kinda boring...especially since I saw Wedding Planner before it. I don't know whether I want to keep watching or not.

Personally, I like the Golden Bowl. The first few episodes are for characters build-up. It gets better! And I love the ending. Guess what, I rewatched the last 2 episodes already.

Do you know the name of the actress who played the rich girl he met in the Omiai (Arranged marriage)? Episode 7 or 8.

Thanks

I was surprised that Oji Megumi...the sister from Under One Roof was in one episode of the Wedding Planner. I thought she stopped acting.
