I've just downloaded the first episode, but... there's no sub. T___T Wonder where and when can I find the sub. T____T I can't understand what they're saying, it makes me crazy.

yeah i saw people loading it onto youtube but without subs. i really dont wanna watch it without subs 'cause it just kills the whole story so im waiting paitently for some subs. some people at d-addicts are subbing it...but its ganna take them awhile.. there hasn't really been that much news on shun lately...just a couple of magazine scan of him concerning his role in conan. god can't wait til HYD2.....shun as ruuuuuuuuui....*dreams. he is literally a white knight in...very very expensive clothes lol

Btw i watched the first episode of the taiwanese meteor garden.. The guy acting as Rui looks quite good too.. Maybe the best among the rest. I don't really like the other two acting other than Rui and Tsukushi.. Their hairstyle's weird. The show's a bit draggy too.. That's why there's so many more episodes, I think. Heh..

hahahah!! i went on a 2-year obsessions with the guy that played rui in the taiwanese version...that's how i got wind of HYD and thus SHUn!! yeah...he's a cutie too! you'll fall in love with him by the end of the series..i think he's the true rui. SHUn is the cool and sexy rui. Vic (the tawainese guy who plays rui) is the indifferent cold rui. yay! im glad you're watching it. see a lot of epople said it was too draggy...yea 21 epi is a little long (meteor garden two had like 30 something episodes!!) but i think its just the japanese ones are too SHORT!! usually only about 11 episodes! but whatever..its goodness condensed neh? lol

don't worry, the taiwanese version of HYD is a bit dragging, and the actors can't really act, but i promise you, it's still very good!!! it ws a hit in japan after HYD the anime sorta flopped. patience, patience.

Haha.. Maybe meteor garden is more detailed.. Sadly I didn't watch it when it came out on one of my local channels.. Now I have to watch it on youtube which is kinda slow..

And how come only 2 years of obsession with Vic? Lol.. I guess Shun stole all the limelight.. Haha.. Oh yeah.. Since you watched meteor garden first, do you think HYD is better or MG? Seems like all those who watched HYD first preferred it but I never heard anything from all those who watched MG first.

hahaha YAY! MG! yeah...i watched MG first. at first i was pretty reluctant. before MG i was like...'asian media..?! wtf?! hell no!' and than it was march break...and like my friend lent me it and i watched the whole thing in like two days and i LOVED it! the plot is sooooo good!! and its so touching. i personally think MG has a better and realistic plot. mainly 'cause the two man actors were soooo convincing. daoming si and hua ze lei. *side note, the chinese tried their best to keep those names as the same in the manga. hanazawa rui is hua ze lei...it sounds pretty good!!* but i think im bais because i watched MG first and i speak mandarin. i think whether or not you actually UNDERSTAND completely what they're saying counts a lot since like tsukasa says all play on words things and some of the meaning gets lost when you translate them into english. *phew* whata long post

I watched MG first too.... All the pips here in our country was hooked to the series that it created a record of that sort....
But Im feeling Hana Yori Dango more..... It's just not that complete like MG because it also focused on the first part of the series.....

Yeah.. I agree. Sometimes the translation can be a little wrong.. Wonder if people trying to learn chinese learnt the wrong stuff coz of this.

I only watched up to ep 4 and the stuffs are way too different.. And during the "party" on the cruise, shancai's dress was wayyyy too awful.. Everything was just different between the two versions..

yeah...MG was such a big hit. it was like the first series that was extremely popluar in almost every single asian country. and they did it on such a tight budget too!! gotta give them credit for that! so i mean JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON! if millions of people liked it...chances are you would too!

yeah! reincarnation! i saw a small preview for that one! shun is a trainman or something like that. hehehe so sexy! but scary at the same time. did you notice?! most of the horror movies invovle WOMAN! its always a scary LADY! never a scary MAN! i wonder why that is....

hmmm... i watched MG first but i liked HYD better, although MG was closer to the manga the actors and the whole production of HYD was much better...and i agree...the actors in MG can't act, anyway who can blame them, they were the ones chosen to portray the roles. maybe i am just biased because i don't really like taiwanese dramas...so far i've never come across a great taiwanese drama...i don't like the actors and the stories, although some were based on mangas they were not presented well, no offense, just giving out my opinion...

anyway i'm also looking forward to HYD2, my sister told me that matsujun and inoue mao are going to new york to film the drama, oguri shun should also be there, right? and she read somewhere that episode 1 will be 2 hours... but i don't know if it's true, can't wait!!!

hi everyone! MG was a BIG hit in my country a few years back when it was released. the actors playing the characters of F4 formed a pop group singing cheesy love songs n released a couple of albums, n their group name?? F4! ha!

i prefer shun to vic as rui....

in MG, the director chose to cast beautiful people who can't act because the public will appreciate them more. he reasoned that even if the leads are great actors, the public will negate this because, well, they're not that great looking. the guy has a point, but still i think that's sorta superficial....
take a look at the first few episodes of MG and you'll understand. at first i was like, "wha?!?!?! these people can't act to save their lives!!!!!!" but it develops....
