finished Kekkon Dekinai Otoko....absolutely funny. Abe Hiroshi deserved his Best Actor Award at this year's Japanese TV Academy Awards.
a masterful performance, believable and humorous, through and through.
Yup! Abe was in Kekkon Dekina Otoko.
But so is Kenji Sakaguchi in Iryu. You gotta watch this one man! From the horrile Fighting girl -> Iryu, Sakaguchi's acting IMO has improved a lot _________________

i intend to watch Iryu although i have some reluctance with regard to medical doramas after watchin N's Aoi...that drama was wack....
but, yeah, i've heard great things about Iryu. thank you for the recommendation.

u'r welcome. Hmmm... i think TMD has all the nurse fuss in all the episodes in Ns'Aoi put together into a 20 minute scene. TMD sounds much more professional _________________
It's so funny those two guys are fighting for Esumi Makiko (which it thought wasn't that pretty. But she's gonna become a professor in a hospital in the age of 35 so she must be somethin) instead of Yonekura Ryoko...
Yeah, I thought it was weird too, but Makiko was the big star and Ryoko was up-and-coming at the time...
Ano.... minna, can you tell me what those 2 people were saying -Donmyoji and the girl- when...

donmyoji was about to fly to new york but stopped the plane and sort of said gud bye to the girl. what were they saying before they kissed? You know, after donmyoji said somethin like "do you love me now?"
b/c the last episode that i had occured an error... thx...

Pride episode 2
I think every cast were in one of their best looks in this dorama. Kimura, Takeuchi Yuko, and Sakaguchi looked great.
It doesn't look japanese at all though, a bit weird, maybe b/c of the soundtrack. I never knew japanese people played hockey eiher
I'm so hooked with Kenji Sakaguchi's acting!!! Kimura is his usual tough kakkoi bloke which i think he's done so many times, gets a bit boring if seen too often...

Matriarchal Family epi 4. This drama is surprisingly good! I'm hooked.
Yeah, I really liked the performances by Reiko Takashima (the evil older sister) and Isao Hashizume (the executor) I wouldn't trust that guy as far as I could throw the Empire State Building, but it's great to watch all the manipulations!

Yesh! Reiko is amazing in this drama. I mean, all the characters are so cruel... it's grand! And you can't help loving Ryoko's character Fumino, because she's so wronged.

You were expecting it to stink?
No, not stink. I had just heard/read mixed reviews and I thought I'd just be indifferent while watching. But I'm actually loving it!
I'm gonna dig up the thread if there is one... >>zoom<< _________________

he was asking calling makino stupid, and asked something like, who asked you to come, and then she was like, who's the stupid one, then she starts crying while saying "you're always going on and doing stuff on your own. Will you cut that out?" and then domyouji apologizes, and then she thanks him for everything he did for her, and thanks him for the necklace. He tells her that once he has become more amazing as a man, he'll come back to japan, and tells her that he's going to be with her no matter what because she's "the girl he approves of" and then makino says her famous "arienai tsuno!" and then domyouji calls her a liar and says, you're in love with me," and then she admits it, and then they kiss.
A little detailed, but I love that scene, so I couldn't help it.
Hope that helps

Oh yes I really enjoyed GTO *nod nod* I gave it a try because it's so hyped and I'm glad I did it was a lot of fun I loved Onizuka he was hillarious XD
I'm in the mood for funny Jdorama at the moment I just watched GTO before that it was Attention Please and now I'm moving onto My Boss My Hero wah! Can't wait for that, Nagase is soooooo funny ne?
So you gave up on Long Vacation? XD
I got Mukodono sorted, doing a blank trade someone is sending it for me yay I'm so happy right now (more funny Nagase)
And whoo for British tV (is watching PotC on BBC1 right now) and course watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special last night
Gotta find some more interesting doramas I'm on a high right now
Ah, I'm not a Doctor Who fan, so I was amongst the few not watching it.
Not familiar with Nagase, so I dunno.
If you want a funny dorama, definitely give Kuitan a go. It's frequently hilarious.
I got my special yesterday, and I am sooo watching that soon.
Yup, it was mad funny! Ryoko was great in it. Played a role completely different than what I'm seeing her play in Mat Fam (epi 7 now!) _________________
