Do you want them to be THAT humiliated? Dancing in the background for NEWS lives while they were in that group a year ago? It would be odd, seeing all 6 together singing and then Kusano & Uchi in the background doing the Juniors dances with all those kids...

But Kitagawa couldn't care less, he's the first one to know that a +6-members band is a risky one to promote (I'm speaking on the long term... I hardly see any 8-members bands who are over 30 years old and are still in the Japanese entertainment).

It's sad to say but maybe in Kitagawa's mind (I speak about the CEO, Mary because Johnny isn't running the Jimusho anymore), he wants NEWS to rake money for years so a 6-members band is more acceptable for the large public in Japan.

Just remember that this year YamaP's debut single alone outsold NEWS biggest hit by almost twice as much... Statistics are speaking.

I seriously don't think that Uchi and Kusano will be dancing for anyone. Apart from the fact that it was stated that there won't be any appearances for them, there's also the probability that they could steal the spotlight away from the people that they are backdancing for. One word from someone that they are backdancing at someone's concert could potentially cause people to attend the remaining concerts for the sole purpose of looking for them.
Of course, I'm only speaking theoretically, since this is only assuming that tickets weren't sold out prior to the start of the concert tour.

as long as theyre not back up for NewS...

and thats why i dont think uchi was in that sayaendou pv...

maybe because my NewS fandom is starting to rub off...

it gets pretty boring waiting for jin,uchi and kusano...

and JE is really pissing me off...

You and I both All I've been doing is occupying myself by watching old perfs and clips as well as listening to their previous albums when they were still complete. It takes some of the boredom away for the time being

some of you may have noticed that i've not been posting lately.

i'm glad you guys are still strong for NEWS. i am sorry but since i heard that Kusa and Uchi are not part of the line up anymore, i am rather disheartened. which is strange since shige is still there and is apparently going strong. but NEWS without Kusa and Uchi is...different.

I will always support SHIGE but i guess i'm too sad to lose Uchi and Kusa. and the weird thing is that in the past, i'd always complained that Kusa was too hyper and Uchi was too....ermm.....gay?

but in the end, in my mind they are still NEWS. AND THEY'LL ALWAYS BE NEWS.... so NEWS without them is ....i dunno.... un-NEWS?

It would've not been so bad if they were opting to go out of NEWS on their own. i hope JE won't put in new members in NEWS, at least not yet.

haha we're totally in the same boat. I started out as a big fan of KT, but then Jin went on hiatus so my passion went dry for a bit. Then I moved on to NEWS and found out that Uchi was suspended. Hay nakakaloka talaga! But that's ok. Once school starts, I won't have time to mourn over both their absences
