Unfortunately, I've not the pleasure of eating at one in Japan.
More than likely there are. I haven't seen a Taco Bell there, but there are places like Wendy's and K.F.C.
They even have a "China Town" in Kobe that looks kind of like the one we have in Hawaii (Oahu).
I wouldn't be suprised if there are "Japanese style" Mexican restaraunts. Or any Mexican restaraunts for that matter......

better your tongue then the other end! LOL!
Touche!
I've had that happen to me before after I loaded up too much on the "spices"! But I just love karai food!
I ate at an Indian curry restaraunt in Ashiya. The curry was pretty karai! Just the way I like it! Mmm *yum yum* But because it was from Japan, I assume that it wasn't "real" Indian curry. I've yet to try Pakistan curry. Supposedly, it's supposed to be very hot. (Seen a Japanese guy eat it in a show and he couldn't handle it at all). Worth looking into (IMO) We'll see when I get the chance to taste it.....

I haven't seen a mexican restaurant in mainland jpn yet, but as far as okinawa, the closest i've seen that resemble any mexican food is the famous "taco rice and cheese". it is served at any family diner and some street vendor and for some unknown reason, only served this in Okinawa.
this dish just consist of taco meat, rice, cheese, and sometimes some nacho chips on the side. _________________

Have you eaten there yet? If I ever go to Okinawa, I may check it out.
On another note, I think I should go to Okinawa soon 'cause I gotta go pick up (somehow and someway and somewhere ) my family registre. I want a copy before of it before there is no way to obtain one. Heh, what the hell does this have to do with Mexican food?

My co-workers and I are having a Mexican themed pot-luck this week. I am really looking forward to it. I am going to make some salsa and a bean dip.
I did find a few Mexican Restraunts in Japan. I found a couple one Osaka, and a couple in Tokyo. I would not call it real authentic by any stretch of the imagination but it was decent.

If you see this, can you tell me which ones you know of in Osaka? (And where)
(As I always go there whenever I go to Japan........)
All I ate in Osaka was McDonald's, Royal Host, and other Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki joints.

where's your hometown in okinawa anyways? Ours id in shuri, just a hop-skip-and-jump from the ryukyu shuri castle. But actually i thought that the registry can only be acquired if you have JPN citizenship? if you can get it, that's great, i hope i'm wrong, but i hope you are able to get it.
Getting back on track, the places that serve TRC (taco rice 'n cheeze) are served a a lot of places and shouldn't be hard to find. it's kind of like looking for 'spam musubi' in hawaii's 'conbeni' (convienence store), they're everywhere. _________________

Hometown is in Itoman vilage. Pretty near Naha.
I'm guessing that I can get the registry ending with my grandfather. I just want to see what kind of status my family had back in the day.

It contains recipes and photos of all kinds of japanese foods like sushi, desserts, different rice meals, tofu, vegetables, chicken, seafood, soups, drinks like sake, hot pots and much more!
I got pretty hungry while searching through those!
