What I meant when I said they bring back the old students from season 1 is at least bring back Shin, or maybe even Kuma (again), Noda, Minami or Uchi and get them to play supporting roles, at least bring them back...preferably Shin though, because most people want him back. Of course Yankumi would be teaching a new class, but outside school, maybe something can happen between her and Shin? Maybe Shin can become a supporting character who stays throughout the entire series, like Shinohara or the teachers in season 1.
Of course I don't want them to bring back the old students and get Yankumi to teach them again, because that'll be just stupid. but at least bring them back and give them supporting roles, even if they only appear for 1 or 2 eps each...but at least keep Shin though!
What I meant when I said that they're looking for new actors is that they're thinking about changing the entire cast; not just the students, but also the teachers and other characters...the only original character they're gonna keep is Yankumi, and very likely the principal too...it just seems weird that they keep on changing so many casts for every season...take season 2 for example, why base it in a new school with new teachers? Why can't they just stay in Shirokin with all the old teachers? I bet for season 3 they're gonna set it at another different school. Don't u think it's weird that whichever school Yankumi works at, the principal Kyoto just happens to follow her everywhere? At least stay in the same school then that whole thing would make more sense.

They can't be Yankumi's students anymore though, because they've already graduated. remember?
And I think Yankumi faces bad students because it's how she proves her "gangster" teacher will and strength. I dunno...ask the mangaka. _________________

gokusen is just like GTO. Even the teacher's office looks the same but with rearranged desks. I don't know which one came out first but it's such a rip off of one another.....But I liked GTO better the girls in Gokusen wasn't pretty.....only the guys were pretty. Gakkari......

Guys... I'm hearing pretty much everywhere (and mostly on d-addicts) that Gokusen 3 is on its way for a possible Spring/Summer broadcast. Now is it SERIOUS or just another nasty rumor? 'Cause I'm seeing this one everywhere lately.
Though all sources state there will be no Nakama Yukie in the 3rd season...

Hmm, I'm not trying to defend it but it's true that after Gokusen II, there was anything left to discuss about. We pretty much saw everything of Gokusen. But how can you know that it's going to bomb? Remember the Kimura-like ratings of the 2nd season (27% average, with 32.5% for the last episode), so if they want to bring it back, they better find a good writer that doesn't make the same plot all over the episodes with different high-school students.
I'm very curious and at the same time I think I don't want to see it, I loved both parts of the series and to me, it ended extremely smooth.
Well you can't blame Kitagawa for owning this one... The guys possesses all the A+ ratings boys over in the Jimusho, broadcacters will be kneeling before him to get some of his actors. But I can't think of a Johnny's groupe/unit who can hold a candle to KAT-TUN's popularity. Seriously, all the debuted groups are way too old to star in it. Or maybe it will be a only old-recast season... Let's see the matter evolve, shall we? =)

I'm really not good at english . That's why i have no confidence when i decide to post .
I watched gokusen season 1 & 2 .
I love Gokusen 1 very much but i feel disappointed ... uhm , i mean gokusen season 2 , no Shin in season 2 ... Oh , i want to see Shin , i want to see how he does to flirt with yankumi
But Season 2 is not bad ... Oh i mean odagiri and hayato , they are good , I love hayato , he is very handsome so i watched Anego , that film is very funny. About odagiri , he's a good friend , wish i had a good friend like him ... Did you all watch " Nobuta wo produce " ? With a reward " best dorama '' , not bad , but ... For me , " Best dorama " must be " one litre of tears " . I mean " one litre of tears " is a touching story , I can't stop crying , I'm sure if you watch this dorama , you'll cry like me .
But , Gokusen is also a touching story , the teacher - student relationship , friendship & love ... very good !
I wish i had a teacher like yankume , a teacher who can listen to the student , the teacher who i can be proud of , the teacher I can love ... And I want to have a class with good friends to graduate together ...This dorama teach me how to care for my friends .

nope, i'm pretty sure he didn't appear in gokusen.
the caps you provided are acutally of shin and kuma having a cameo appearance at sho's dorama. so you should be looking for sho's dorama instead. hope that clears it up. _________________
