Yow, that show is tanking...
Probably too lurid a drama for most... And no pretty boys.

Downward spiral that parallels that of Ryoko's character.
Enka no Joou not faring any better. Media reports say Yuki Amami's reputation as one of the top actresses who can draw good viewship may be in peril.

i guess there are the top 3 dramas so far
*Haken no Hinkaku_______18.2%_18.6%_18.8%_20.1%_18.6%_20.7%
*Hana Yori Dango 2 ______19.4%_20.1%_19.2%_23.1%_20.3%_21.0
*Karei Naru Ichizoku______27.7%_21.8%_23.5%_23.0%_21.2%_
I can understand why both HYD2 and Kare got so high rating
but for Haken no Hinkaku... can anyone tell me whether it is worth to watch?
thank u
i read the synopsis and it looks interesting _________________

You should be asking this question in the recommendations thread, not this one....

This one is not far behind. It's Nakama Yukie's latest. I still wonder why it's doing so poorly. If any of its 25 remaining viewers is still awake, please let us know.

jade_frost wrote: | Ratings for Doramas in Summer (Week 9)
Shimokita Sundays and Regatta will be terminated after the 9th episode next week. |
I know this was posted awhile ago. I was always under the impression that they didn't cancel any dramas.
So, I was wondering if:
1) They just didn't show the last ep(s). This would seem to be a suboptimal solution as it would irritate the fans that did stick with the series and kill any potential DVD sales. I mean, if they stopped Dragonzakura at Ep 9, not only would fans be pissed, but no one would really consider buying the DVDs if they couldn't see if any of the students made it to Todai. Of course, they could just put the unaired episodes on the DVD, but then they might as well have aired them if they were already finished.
2) They rewrote and/or refilmed the last ep(s) so that the drama had a conclusion, just a bit rushed perhaps. This would seem to be a better solution, but certainly more time consuming and potentially more expensive for the producers. Perhaps they hadn't filmed the last episode(s) yet, in which case, it could have saved them some money just filming 9 episodes instead of 10 or 11.
Thanks in advance.
