quite cool fantasy, what needs really long to read. in germany there are 28 books E300-400 pages out now
many, many different characters who appear and disaapear, side-storys, and so on...absolutly complex thing

Interesting that this book is in 28 books in Germany. In the US, it's in 10 books, each about 500-600 pages... I read the first two books and then realized I had other things to do, so decided to take a break on the series. But I'll come back to them sometime.

Right now I'm reading
.

Fun fun!

translated and edited by ivan morris. really neat stuff, somehow when i pick up a book on japanese history it always ends up being about the heian jidai. don't know why...? the okagami, ochikubo monogatari, heike monogatari (the shin heike monogatari by yoshikawa eiji - want to read the original some day), now this one. just dumb luck i guess...

Two books I'm reading tonight...

Professional PHP4, published by wrox

and

MySQL/PHP Database Applications, published by MT Books

I'm still trying to write my *#&%^&# BT tracker front-end so it'll take the "scrape" bencode stuff and make some meaning out of it. And, then, when I'm all through with programming for tonight, I'm going to read the following for dessert:

Yummy...

yes, i know, its quite boring to wait on the 2nd part of the splitted book, cause they appear with a diffence of some month...but i guess the german books have somehow the better drawings ^^

i needed 1-2years to finish this fantasy cycle and sometimes it really bored me. sometimes the side-storys are absolutly uninteressting or the story develops far too slow, but on the other hand....hey, gimme one book with more complex characters, development, world and story

I just finished a volume of Zits comic. I just love the series! A very enjoyable series about a 15 yo teen who has an adolescence, rebelin against his parents and he's a good-for-nothing person, not an ideal son to every parent. Oh boy, I'm totally hooked on the series, gotta look for more vols!
