Next question: How do I make the subs work? Is there any software I have to dl? Or do I just put the torrent and the subs in the same folder? Gomen ne, I'm new to this kind of thing usually I just dl the one with hardsubs.. so I don't really know how.. _________________

Hey Slasher! I stayed up till 5.30am watching it last night! It was not disappointing. It is SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!! The plot and the twists are awesome plus every character acting is top. Erika is super beautiful, Light just is plain evil and L is super cool. I mean, from beginning to end, L is cool. I just love his detective character that you wont find anywhere else. The match up between L and Light is an amazing one. Despite what happens on the end, you can't help but think how crazy all the twists were to lead to that point.
The movies does get a bit complicated at the end though. I had to reread subs and think about it before i could fully understand it.
I loved that part when L saw Misa and then he stared at her for so long and she said he was "weird". Then all of a sudden he grabs Misa's hands and says "I listen to Heaven's Door." Then starts complaining about how lucky Light is L is the greatest! Plus, that mask he wears makes him look RETARDED haha
Everyone needs to watch that movie. Plus, Erika Toda gets a lot of screen time!

great movie indeed. now we just have to wait for the prequel movie about L. coming in 2008 i think.
and i really like Erika Toda much more in this movie such a great performance. even L and Light.

and i have watched the 1st movie
i like it
but i got 2 questions
hope someone can help me
1. isnt L is Light in the manga? and isnt Kira's real name Raito Yagami?
im confused coz they called Kira as Light in the movie
2. and bout Kira's first gf in the 1st movie who dies at the end. I cant recall that Kira had gf other than Misa
1. Raito = Light, it's the Japanese way to pronouce Light. And L is not Light
2. Yeah, the first gf was not in the manga, in the manga, the bus event is just Raito picked a girl who liked him.

well you have to admit, Light won in part 1 and was seemingly winning in 2. It only serves him right that he loses at the very end. Because the movie was so twisted that everytime it looked like L cornered Light, Light was always one step ahead. The "fake rule: 13 days the user will die" trick was really smart. However, we all love good detective work and L takes his victory. Apparently, the cost of victory was his own death. So im sure that Light fans will still be happy, right?
Btw, I think the Light actor was not the best but he did great acting and ti was totally believable.

I finally finished it last night!~ Omedetou to me XDDDDD And you guys are right; IT'S SO WORTH IT. I'm glad I finished dl-ing it. I think its even better than the first movie. But I'm off to school now, so my drabbles (and screencaps probably) will follow later.

i watched the first movie and i loooved it!!! hahaha the actor for L is awesome!!! hes adorable to boot too >:3 he makes a better L than Shin (nana) anyday
i bought the second movie the other day and the subs make me giggle since it was tranlated from korean (i dont get it but whatever). its SO funny!!! light's name translates to right and ryuzaki is now dragon man or something like that.... and misa's name is like.... shinning sea when i watch it again ill let you guys know.

I've never much liked Light, don't know why (I'm usually a big anti-hero fan) I absolutely LOVE L though... he has always been my favourite character in the manga/anime/movie _________________
