We also DO call women attractive in English. A person is indeed an object in the sense of proper sentence structure. Aya is attractive. Aya is the object of the adjective attractive.
This has gotten to be funny and sad at the same time.

Understand that saying she is being sexy is not to cast any disparages on her character or to say that she is a slut or something of the sort. A sexy woman or pose is akin to a cute one in the way that it is merely a form of presentation. Aya is being sexy in the above pictures and doing a fine job of it. When I look I say to myself, "Man, wow."
Sangho, are you understanding the difference here? To say that Aya is hot, or cute, or sexy, or whatever is a compliment and in no way is meant to infer anything about her actual character. Especially because none of us really knows her.
So, can anyone hook me up with a link to the AP hardsubbed Special? Or is it on D-Addicts?

Aya being sexy
As a woman, let me agree that most of us find men to be complicated at times (just like you do us, just the nature of the beast. But it makes romance more interesting right? )
And I agree, everyone has their opinion on what is attractive or sexy--men, women, this country, that country, doesn't matter. We as humans tend to be visual. While someone's "attractiveness" may not be a deal breaker, when we first see someone that we find attractive, it's hard not to acknowledge it.
As for sexy, some people are sexy but maybe not physically as attractive as others (at least for me). Some are both.
But attractiveness can also change by a person's personality IMO. There are times when I find someone hot, until I get to know them. Or times when I don't really think one way or another until I get to know them.
Of course, some people are so hot that even if their jerks, I still say, he's hot...for a jerk. I'm shallow like that
As for Aya--that pic is a really good one! And I agree, I've seen the "cute" Aya, and the "hot" Aya. Some people can only do one; she can do both.

Okay, as much as I might or might not enjoy the debate, I think this is the wrong place to do it. We should be talking about how much we love aya instead of quarelling about who's right and who's wrong on such a controversial subject. It's ridiculous how we have to go to "insults" to get our points across. That's how we know when we've crossed the line. We must understand how others feel when we make our comments regardless of our opinions.
I respect each person's perspectives but in the end, if someone doesn't want to change, then we can't force them. So sango, whether you are right or wrong, we can't stop Candy from saying sexy. So let's just let it be and we'll all have to deal with it.
Since I've been here longer than most of you, please listen kudasai. Better yet, lets not mention anything on the subject anymore
