hanakimi is like amanda byne's movie 'she's the man' where the lead girl cross dresses as a guy to enter the school of the guy she admires..in hana kimi the lead guy is an athlete, high jump is the sports, i think that's what it's called, so the guy in the manga is relly tall, kinda skinny which totally fits shun appearance in my opninion..
so anyway as a point of comparison:

to the pinoy's I saw an episode of "BLOG" featuring the F4 of HYD.... it was so good that they are exposing them even if HYD is being shown on the rival network ne..... even though Bianca G. pronounced Shun's name as Ogori not Oguri... LOLZ....

ok children, Oguri Shun is some good-looking, but to be a good actor must work much more, and this young is beginner in the movies world....My daughter like the japanese movies and show me few, and learn japanese language.....Anyway, is too much to said this young actors like Oguri Shun , Matsumoto Jun, Inoue Mao and many others is great actors.....But can be....Maybe in few years....Only the time show us if they are indeed great. Isn't enough to look good.....must be good in all....many young actors was wasted.Remember somebody Macaulay McCaulkin ? I want wish goodluck to this young japanese actors, and be carefully.... i know that hana kimi is from a manga but never really read one...
just watch the taiwanese version only...
shun really suits to play sano... i don't think that ryo and horikita maki would siut the main characters. maki is too soft to play a boyish girl and ryo is too short to be a high jumper... (sori to the fans of both artists)
anyway, it's just my opinion...

i guess you're right... young actors have a long way to go to prove that they are successful... but as long as they have the talent and the will to go for it... i think they can be successful...

hello! I really think shun has gone far already, he started young and I believe he will definitely end old enough in the showbiz scene, we're fans and so we really do not think that shun would be losing his path, we always try to think of positive things about shun. and yes we wish him and the others the luck that they need, _________________

i think that shun had shown that he can play a diversity of roles and that is so great as a young actor... i wish that he could have more exposure to be the lead role or something...
