Well, yeah... S'pore is an island. A pretty hi-tech & developed island coz we don't have much natural resources here. Lots of buildings. And we sure ain't got any cute surfers dude!!! Shucks! Angry

hahahah Malaysian syndrome hahaha... well i live in KL... well it is possibly that after staying here for the last 20 years things are getting quite boring here... so now i m plotting of the many ways that i could get out of here hahaha sounds like i m in prison ahahaha... but well i m just probably dying for a change... life is getting quite mundane here... maybe if it starts snowing here haha that might be reason to stay haha... well i m just really bored of the place la... i remember the last time i was at Singapore for a holiday it seemed like a much more fun place to be at... eventhough it is not so much diff. from msia... i think it is like u know if u a genie and u r stuck in bottle for 500 years u would wanna get out of it and maybe find a new bottle too for that matter hahaha... talking crap now... hahaha at the end my point is ... Someone get me out of here !!! hahahahah

I am from New York and have gotten tired of it, especially this year for some reason. Sad.

Oddly, I had this ex-girlfriend who was born and raised in Hawaii (she even went to Punahou Rolling eyes ), and she thought the place was dullsville... But she loved Frisco and NYC...

I guess the grass is always greener......

Yeah. That's how it always is. One person's hell is another person's heaven. So to speak.

As for me... Even though I'm in Hawaii myself, I might as well be living in Wyoming or in the Dakota's. I don't enjoy the natural resources my location offers: sun, surfing, beaches, etc. I do get to enjoy the dozens of golf courses here, and I just love the crap out of Waikiki for obvious reasons Naughty Naughty . But other than that, I'm just taking up space.

that is just human psychology. they dispise the place where they live themselves, and envy people who live somewhere like NYC, whilst the people in NYC envy the ones in hawaii. like i know a lot of people who live in the states, when i tell em i live in europe, theyre like 'awesome!'. when i think about europe, dullsville to me. its just a messed up world ya know.

Yep. It's all about one's reference point.
