the article says that leah had rumor with ryo that they've been dating from august, and it is said that JE oppposed the relationship, and they've since broken up.
unrelated part to NEWS: because of the heartbreak, leah is unable to concentrate on work, and is bingeing to relieve stress, and she may retire from showbiz.

checked up news_jpop: did not see any such rumours (unless i didn't check back far enough..),

is this just some groundless rumour? but it has reported JE taking some action... am really kinda confused..
didn't you hear the latest rumour about leah dizon dating some rich businessman with no signs of distress after "breaking up with ryo?" The key here is just treat these rumours as something to laugh about after a long day of work
can't wait for 7/11! i guess the teppen *whether it's re-recorded without kuchi* will more or less indicate the probability of kuchi returning..

What happened? In the past, when NewS released new single, it usually only takes 2-3 days to fill up pre-order quota in those big sites like HMV, Tower Record, Amazon and CD Japan. But this time, none of these websites received enough pre-orders to announce "out of print" yet.......but on the other hands, KAT-TUN's new single limited versions (which started accepting pre-order much later than NewS) are fully reserved already. Seeing the great selling of KT's single, along w/ Tokio & Hey Say Jump all releasing cd in the same month. And all these 3 groups' single got 3 diff editions w/ DVD.......It's pretty sure that NewS won't be able to get #1 on Oricon's Monthly Bestselling.........too bad.............I personally think that Weeeek is better than Sayaendou and Hoshi, why so few ppl ordering it? Or is it just me getting weird taste?

yeah well if it is really that good, you really don't have to worry. NEWS has never had a total sale over 400.000 copies of something they released anyway. and the ones that reached more than 300.000 is only HWM and kibou yell. Masafumi Akikawa's Sen no Kaze ni Natte was released in 2006 and it's still sold until now, it's reached 1.000.000 of sales actually.
so you're concluding that the people who buy their CD's are JE fangirls with limited money? if not, what's the big deal about tokio etc having an album released at the same month?
i mean, puh-leez, but there are a lot of good non-JE artists releasing a single/album at that month too _________________

hmm it probably got to do with NEWS releasing their album and single at the same time. this will force fans who are financially strapped for cash (like me) to just buy one. For me, i ordered the pacific LE since it comes with the 32 page photobook i'll eventually buy weeeek *or make my friend buy it for me* but just not now..
november's crazy with tokio, hey say jump, kat-tun, kinki kids and NEWS releases -.- k8 will also release their concert dvd or sth if i'm not wrong. Perhaps this will also force fans who support more than one group to just purchase the release of their favourite group.
also, kat-tun's single is the theme song of yukan club yeah? the drama in which jin is the lead actor in. Jin fans *esp those who are not ardent kat-tun fans* will be more inclined to purchasing this single since its sales would be somewhat of an indicator of Jin's popularity. And i suppose Jin will get more coverage in this release. And we'll of course have to consider yukan-club watchers who just want the song.
whereas NEWS' release is based on a CM?! and i don't think weeeek is better than HWM or sayaendo frankly. just a sidenote, greeeen is also releasing its single the same week as hey say jump and dbsk eh?
@WD is K8's christmas con schedule out yet? maybe they had enough of concert tours for this year..
The K8 stuff that will be released in November is the first official photobook, which includes:
It will be featuring the spectacular five-month tour that went on from May 3, 2007 in Kanagawa to Sept 30 in Okinawa. It will also include the J-web entries that have been going on throughout the tour. It's the first time a Photobook has worked together with a cell phone website. It's a set of two books and is 368 pages in total!
- Lots of concert pictures and off-shots. Pictures from both on/off stage!
- Lots of reports focusing on the members and each prefecture's lives!
- Many rare pictures that went outside of the concert venues!
- Also includes long, solo interviews that reflect upon the 113 shows.
- Include all J-web entries from the tour!
- Has pictures that each of the seven boys took with their own cameras!
- Also has mini MC reports from each venue!!
Which means, Ryo's fans who are fans of both groups are likely to buy K8's photobook first (considering all those visual goodies they're gonna get instead of some songs they're able to download), thus preventing them to buy NEWS's CDs.
And K8's LIVE DVD will be out in December, with footage from ALL 47 PREFECTURES (and probably a surprise footage of Uchi in Tokyo Dome, if we're lucky).
Nope, K8's schedule for Christmas is not released yet. They're probably looking at everybody's schedule for December, particularly Ryo's with NEWS, Ohkura with Utahime drama, and Yoko with Yuukan Club drama. _________________

CMs are good too, i mean, they appear everywhere and more than once a week. . and yeah, DBSK. What is with DBSK releasing singles so frequently??! their songs aren't even good IMO. quality over quantity please... _________________

@WD uh okay. weird that though i've been a ryo fan for almost two years already, i still almost completely ignore k8's releases. *shrugs* just does not suit my taste i guess though i've tried pretty hard getting into k8. NEWS album over the photobook for me then

yeah but that's becoz the one who sings it is actually in the dorama. Look at crappy daite senorita and crappy kurosagi. people buy that show just coz it has Pee in it. I mean, seriously
I'm a fan of the AU KDDI CM. do you know that one? the one with Shinohara Ryoko and other dorama artists. really funny. and it made Bonnie Pink's song sound good (not that it isn't already good). the one that airs a lot on the commercial break for SMAPxSMAP.
nah, DBSK sounds so korean. it's one of those singers that you can spot right away. good voice, not special. in my ears, it's like all their songs and voices sound the same so it's just boring. and you don't need to know what they're singing just to figure out that their songs are the cliche-lame type, just see the title. they are/have released 7 singles (prolly 8 if they're gonna do a christmas crap <- [offending DBSK, not christmas]) and 4 albums this year. that's like waaaaay too many crap for one year . so this year i was like, "uuu, another DBSK release" turns out lame. and again, and again. so i'm basically dissapointed. whatever.
Hah, that Jin dude molested little gal's and got off by his so-called study trip crap to L.A. and people actually spotted him partying at the local club. i listen to KAT-TUN songs, they sound good all together, not in solos (especially his solo... or crappy duet with Kame--face). i don't watch their performance. i saw Yorokobi no Uta on MS and was like "huh??!!" _________________

Yeah but there are really a lot of Ryo's fans who are fans of both groups, and half of them are more of Kanjani8 fans. Most of my friends buy NEWS' stuff only because Ryo's in it, but they're really Eighters at heart. And I guess the other half are more NEWS' fans than Kanjani8's. But yeah, for those I know who are equal fans of both groups though, all have opted to buy the photobook first. I mean, imagine the deal: Songs on NEWS' CD which can be downloaded + only 32 pages of photobook and all are easily downloadable, or 368 PAGES of pictures & interviews which will be really tiring to scan and upload and then to download. _________________

ohayou mina!! i'm new in this forum!! and i likie NEWS. my favorite member is yuya he's so hot!! i'm so happy that they will be having a new album. too bad i don't have enough money to buy them. i'm looking for a part time job right now so i can buy buy their album. is it true that the limited edition have a 32 page photos?? sugoi!!
