Wynter,
You do know there's Churasan 2, and Churasan 3, and Churasan 4, and...
Same cast, done as an evening drama. Each episode lasting the normal 45 minutes long. Each series running 6 or 8 episodes long. _________________ Manga is to Literature

All the episodes in this area are pretty good. Have you noticed how each time you get one of those poignant moments, you wonder how they were able to keep making new ones so often in one drama..... Gives you that warm comfy feeling. That's what makes this such a popular drama.

Right now I"m rewatching "Dandori" ( Dance Drill).
I saw it a few months ago, but I'm rewatching it because now I have the subs for it.
I can understand what's going on in simple shows like "Dance Drill", even without the subs. But adding the subs is like adding color to a black and white show. You realize (I realize) there was a lot there that I just missed.
"Dance Drill" follows the "Swing Girls" "Hula Girls" formula of a bunch of ordinary kids getting involved with something. Becoming a tight-knit group. Working hard, overcoming all the obstacales... and eventually triumphing.
As I've said before, the formula works great when you get the right people. I think they got the right people here.
I love my Mayfish.
During lunch I've gotten into the habit of watching Korean shows on my portable DVD player.
Right now I'm watching "Evasive Inquiry Agency" and it's just a blast.
It's an action comedy. And I have to say... I haven't had this much fun watching TV in a long time.
No soap opera. No overblown romance.
Just 4 loveable losers on a treasure hunt, chased by some bad guys.
The treasure hunt steals from the same material they raided to make the Indiana Jones movies. _________________ Manga is to Literature

I LOVE MAYFISH TOO!
I didnt realize that you had seen it minus subs. Now you know why I was so enchanted. Made me smile even when I was sick as a dog.
We're watching the Korean Hotelier so I can recover from the bad Japanese remake. About to dig in to Aoi Tokugawa again too. _________________

I finished it (again for the 6 or 7th time). I'm so enchanted with it, now more than ever, that I may just turn around and start from the beginning once more. This is the toughest drama to put away.
