wow hotaru no hikari won....love the show...it's really funny i do suggest that you watch it...it's great that fujiki naohito won as best supporting actor, i believe that he deserves it (but i wonder why he wasn't considered as the leading actor?) nonetheless, i'm really happy for hotaru no hikari...

Lol i am not that suprised that Hotaru No Hikari won the award because Ayase and Naohito has a good chemistry together in this drama. Eventough I havent finished watching this drama, I am enjoying it and plan to finish the drama in the coming weeks. Congrats

i watched both hotaru no hikari and hana kimi. in terms of script hotaru was more interesting and appealing.

It beat "Galileo" for Best Drama by 3,652 votes. It also took Best Actor (Jin Akanishi), Best Supporting Actor (Junnosuke Taguchi), and Best Supporting Actress (Yu Kashii), winning each category by more than a thousand votes.

For Best Actress, Miho Kanno ("Hataraki Man") was #1.

The overall awards for 2007 will be decided in a few months. The nominees in each category include the top five from each season.

Personally I voted for YC and the boys but I think Galileo, Iryu 2 and SP were much better
I think Galileo will win on the Academy Award (YC and its cast has no chance) cause there will vote not just readers (fans) but journalists and judges too.

Yuukan Club winning is the dumbest thing ever. Hopefully the Dorama Academy Wards is more reliable. Now that Junno also wins, the J-dorama world has really come to an end.
