Well that pic beats mine, for the glasses alone! lol.
Always have to try and out do me don't ya atskv9
......I have to admit, it's a funny pic.
Those glasses that Shinta wears in Teppan though They are pretty ugly.
Here in England theres an advert/commercial on tv & radio with this slogan......
"you should of gone to specsavers!!!" (specsavers being a major Opticians/Glasses store).
And Shinta should of definatly gone!!!! lol......... but I guess they are part of his quirky character.

Of course not Spike It's all for the Maki anyways, right? My favorite Maki pics are always the candid and cute ones.
I haven't seen Teppan, but I'll take your word for it about Shinta
Your right it's all about Maki!!! We have to get as many pics of her on here as possible, I will continue the campaign thats for damn sure!!!! heh heh.
Hold up, you haven't seen Teppan????? wtf atskv9!!!
Mr "Maki" himself hasn't seen a pretty major j-dorama with Maki in it!!!!??
I am in shock!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean I've only seen the first 2 episodes but I was hoping after i'd seen the whole series to have a discussion with you about it.
What can I say???? I feel betrayed.........you've let me down atskv9
....maybe your not the big Maki fan like I thought/hoped you were
Nah i'm joking, it's cool I guess but I am pretty shocked you haven't seen it!!.
Is it because you heard bad reviews about it??? or that it was getting low viewing ratings
(I did hear this and apparently it was cut to 9 episodes because of it!).
Well whatever the reason you should give it a try (unless you were already planning on doing so then you can ignore this), it's alright from what i've seen, Maki plays a super confident happy girl plus she smiles a lot in it
(unlike in Nobuta) and I know you love her smile... I know I do
Spike, I am sorry I cannot live up to your standards We're all human right?!
lol, Mr. Maki! I laughed out loud when you said that. Yes, I got hitched with Maki and I took her name. Mr. Maki Horikita!
Well, I've a few reasons why I haven't seen it. 1) Yeah, I heard the reviews weren't great 2)I've already got a huge watch list 3) It takes me a while to actually start watching a drama after I've stopped. I guess I get in slumps
Don't you worry though, I will watch it eventually Hearing that she smiles a lot in the drama might make me watch it a bit sooner now that you mentioned it!

Well as you seem very sorry about it, I'll let you off this time, lol
I dunno atskv9 , I guess I just assumed that you had watched anything that Maki had appeared in, ok so maybe not all of her older stuff but definatly her newer stuff and even commercials she has appeared in (for the record I have seen Maki in a chocolate bar commercial, don't ask me how).
But your right you are only human, and it is good to have Maki drama's to look forward to..... thats why I'm only watching an episode or two of Teppan at a time.
And i'm still sure your Maki knowledge is greater than anyone else's in here....
Anyway......may I ask what atskv9 stands for??
A random question I know but I am curious about what it means...if anything.
Haha, dude stop saying my Maki knowledge is the best here cause I can assure you it's definitely not. I'm just quick to respond and I know how to search the internet for answers
My username doesn't have any meaning really. It was just a random generated logon name I created. Plus I always had trouble thinking of a cool witty name for stuff like forums. Sorry, nothing else besides that

(Shhhhhh.............don't give the game away!!!!! heh heh heh).
Awwwww..... I was hoping your username was some kind of cool code or initials or something.
For example, for my username I used the first name of my favourite anime character (Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop).
Then I just used the year I was born (1983) to create Spike83, easy!
For the record my real name is Ian.......but I prefer Spike, sounds much cooler!!!!
Plus I like to think of it as my internet alias.
Oh yea atskv9, when you get round to watching Teppan, I hope the subtitles you get are much better than mine.
The ones I've got are lame!!!!!!!!!!! I believe they are "softsubs"????
The translator makes me laugh because he just puts "???" when he doesn't know whats being said or even better..... he puts " I have no idea what they are saying" lol.
I know it's a tough job but the subtitles for Nobuta, Hana and Kurosagi and pretty much any j-drama i've got are so much better.
.....Maybe there are better ones available???????
Hmmmmm................

Yeah I knew yours was because of Spike Spiegal cause when you first posted in this thread, you had a Spike icon 83 as a birth year seemed easy enough to decode, which means you're older than me!
Ha, that's too bad the subs for Teppan aren't great. I looked on D-Addicts when you said that and looks like softsubs are the only subs out there, which are the ones you've got probably. I'm sure a few missed lines wouldn't affect too much. It doesn't happen that often does it?

I remember the spike pic, was the only cool pic I had for my profile then obviously I found that lovely one of Maki
Yea, it has be softsubs by the look of them, shame there aren't better ones. I mean they are ok I guess,
I don't remember episodes 1 & 2 of Teppan being too bad for subs but episode 3 was particularly awful for the subs...... I swear half the dialogue wasn't translated!!.
I just hope episode 4 and onwards are better!!!!!!!!!
Yea I bet this forum is full of teenagers atskv9, lol.
I'm pretty sure i'm one of the oldest in this forum, maybe the oldest....which is quite sad...................maybe I need to get life....???
Nah, screw that! Maki's too orsum to give up!!!!!!!!! lol.
Those Maki pics from one missed call are cool!, she looks scary but still orsum!, heh heh. I'll have to sit down and watch it sometime.
