I'm American-- 1/2 Hungarian (Dad's side--my grandparents emigrated here) and the rest is the usual Melting Pot Mix (British, Scots and Choctaw--Mom's family).

Let's see now... my grandfather came from China during the war; my grandmother's dad is from China as well but her mom is Filipino. Now my dad has some Italian ancestors (watered down Pinoy?), how far removed I don't know, and my mom is well, Philippine born mostly-Chinese. Doesn't speak Mandarin tho, just fukien. That would make me, with my Italian last name and maybe Filipino, maybe Chinese face living in the US but was born in the Philippines... Asian?

That is awesome! I intend on taking Mandarin in college ^_^ That's a neat mix too, you really don't appear that mixed in your photos. Cool stuff. Do you go back to visit every once in awhile?

Last time I went to HK was 2 years ago, it's not the same any more after 1997 (they can't even make jokes about it in movies any more, Wink ). It is a good idea to take Mandarin in college, then you'll be able to court all the Taiwanese girls in college, ha. I am only a quarter German, my dad is a half, that's why I don't look that mixed, I am glad it turned out this way. Most people can't tell where I am from. I know of someone who is a half with a completely asian face but she is a natural blond, poor thing.

Oh, I was forgetting... Lovelessemotion, of course I know Italian!! I live in Italy and it's my native language...
"Puttanesca" (the correct name has 2 "t") is just a sauce for the pasta...eheheh... but I'm sure you know many other Italian words, even if at the moment you don't know it... for example "pizza"!! Big Grin
