Hey folks. Haven't seen much J-dramas recently so I've been out of the loop for a while. Suddenly got the urge to watch one. Does anybody have any comedy suggestions, maybe the more recent comedies? Suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Well, the most recent ones I've seen were Gokusen, Nodame and My Boss My Hero. Any other good comedies out there? Preferably those without the high school element. I think I've seen enough high school dramas Smile .

Amen to that. Victory! Peace!

I'd recommend the two Kuitan series and Jiko Keisatsu... Quirky, fun, and tongue-in-cheek comedy/crime dramas. Smile

Ack! I ended up watching Hana Kimi. Damn. It's funny though, partly cuz I can totally relate to the setting. I lived in a boys dorm in my high school days too ... though we didn't have a girl living with us, hehe. The girls dorm was just a few meters away though so it was all good. Aah good times.

Sorry I'm gonna bug you guys again with the same question/request. Any recommendations for comedies out there that do not involve high school would be much appreciated. Thanks!
