For all you freaky maid lovers Victory! Peace!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSAyooztrCw

A unique addition to maid cafes, Akiba Girls Dorm provides a "space where one can act out the fantasy of entering a prohibited female domain."

From the newly launched Akibanana an English website which claims to offer:

"the most up-to-date trends and happenings in Japan's otaku capital, right from its epicenter...the most comprehensive 'Akiba guide' for those intending to visit Akihabara. Some unique features include the world's first English Akihabara shop directory listing information on maid cafes, game centers, electronics shops, restaurants and other establishments in Akihabara. Another attraction of the site is the Akipedia a meticulously compiled encyclopedia of otaku terminology, explaining terms such as 'aho-ge' (moron-hair), 'iyashi' (soothing relaxation), and 'nekomimi' (cat ears) to help fans keep up with the latest Japanese slangs or buzzwords."

AFP: Tokyo cafe taps into women's Prince Charming fantasies

Quote:

..."Japan has a huge fantasy culture," said butler Brendan, a 27-year-old American who formerly worked in Tokyo as an English teacher. "They often want to escape from daily life and they are good at engineering alternate reality." Like other butlers, Brendan did not give his full name because the cafe strictly forbids personal relationships outside the cafe...Yoko Nakagawa, a counsellor for women in Tokyo, said that being transformed into a princess or served by foreigners felt "unreal" for the average Japanese woman. "Most of today's women carry unsatisfied feelings from their childhood and now as adults they are in need of being accepted unconditionally," she said. "So if foreign butlers accept them unconditionally as princesses, that can be better than going to the hair salon or spa because there is a real human relationship involved," Nakagawa said...more...

lol

Hilarious. I wonder what they will come up with next. Sweat

Seriously, I hope Brendan wants to go back to US, 'cause you can't possibly have life time employment. Shake Head You're just the flavor of the month. In 3 months, the princesses will want fresher meat.
