Ahhh... I need to let this out... I'm sorry, I don't mean to gossip, but since Shingo is a very important figure for me, now... I need to share my feelings and opinions about him, to other fans xD Pls, forgive me for the long essay~
Ever since Bara started, there's a number of japanese fans who come to like Shingo-Yuko combi very much, and the number is getting bigger by day. Some are even being quite fanatic, thinking that there must be something between them. I don't believe that at first, but I do realized there's something changing in Shingo and he's a bit strange lately than usual, I thought maybe he found someone and he's in love with a common woman right now. Though I love Shingo-Yuko pair too, but maybe realistically its impossible.
In last night's SmaStation episode, in the opening, he said, "Tonight is The World's Most Beautiful Woman Ranks. For me, the world's most beautiful woman is Shirato Mio-san.... ohanaya-san....hai..."
In the middle of the show, he mentioned again, "Well, anyway... about the world's most beautiful woman... For me, compared to the beauties that were shown just now, Takeuchi Yuko-san is more beautiful. Aa-- the last episode is on the day after tomorrow!"
2 seconds before the show's over, "The last episode is on Monday...."
To this extent... I just thought, "Akkh... he praised Takeuchi Yuko too much, just to promote Bara!". Yes, of course, it was just a promotion... I'd like to think that way.
In the last half of the show, the guest was asked about his pick up line to women that he often use, and Shingo seemed to have interest in that line, and wanted to ask more but then he said, "Okay, actually I wanted to say more, but I already said too much in the opening, so I better stop here...." (why do you want to ask more abt pick up line to women?? lol!)
When I thought Shingo is just promoting his drama... This morning, he left a comment in SmaStation's official website, and the fans gave quite a reaction to it.
Shingo's comments:
Really, for me... Takeuchi Yuko-san is so beautiful. There were so many beauties that were shown on the VTR just now that looks alot like her. Like, the facial expressions... Yoshinaga Sayuri in her youth, resembles her the most. When you act together with someone for 3-4 months, you'll understand/knows very well the co-star's look. And everytime I look at her I kept thinking, "She's really a beauty....". So today, while there was still the "promotion" flow, I'd really like to take the chance to talk about Yuko-chan. She resembles them... There were moments when somehow I saw Takeuchi Yuko-chan in my eyes, when I saw those beautiful women..."

My own opinion: When I watched SmaStation last night, I just thought "Promotion dayo ne?? And maybe he just thought that Takeuchi Yuko is one of beauty he ever known,". But after reading his comments on the official website, which means he kept thinking about Takeuchi Yuko during the whole show and overlapping those beauties images with Takeuchi Yuko's face inside his head.... -_-
I'm almost assured, that Katori Shingo is falling in love with Takeuchi Yuko right now. The question is, is this feelings real? Or is it overlapping with Shiomi Eiji's feelings? I'm sure, Shingo himself is having difficulties to differ which is real, and which is not.
Knowing that Shingo is the type who cries watching touching movies, he is quite a sensitive person and it's not impossible that he got carried away with the character he created inside himself, Shiomi Eiji. It's kinda scary if he's trapped between reality and dream...
But I agree with one of the fan... maybe he knows that things are impossible with Yuko, he's not gonna meet her again, so without feeling shy, he was just being honest about her.
Actually I know I don't have to worry about these two, since Yuko is a single mother and she must be busy thinking about her child right now, she may not have interests in romance right now, so it's just Shingo's one-sided love.
But it reminds me of how Goro-Miho started xD It started out with Goro's one-sided love too, coz that time Miho was still dating Kashiwabara Takashi. It reminds me of Goro's shy attitude when Miho came to Bistro to promote Sommelier, it was just so obvious that Goro had a crush on her that time. And Goro often praised Miho in the radio too, during Sommelier filming, "Miho-chan kirei," "Miho-chan kawaii," "Miho-chan sugoi,"
And then a fan's comment makes me nervous, "Don't you think it's possible that right now Yuko is looking for a man that has a good potential to be a father?? And to THINK that Shingo is playing the role as a single father now?? I wonder what does Takeuchi thinks when she sees the view of Shingo being great with kids??"
Don't mind to reply, this is just my observation ^_~ For all we know, who knows Shingo will be seen again with a common woman having a holiday together to Hawaii, once Bara is over, LOL!

No kidding, it's not the usual cartoon-ish drawings Shingo usually draws, he actually seriously drew Takeuchi's face sketch, like a photo sketch. It's so beautiful that I cried when I observed it. The lines are so delicate and calm, and I can see he drew it carefully. He drew all the face parts in such a detailed way, like wanting to show "These are the "beautiful" parts of her!". This is the first time I ever saw Shingo draws so serious like this, I felt really moved by it. He poured out all his emotions and feelings to this drawing and it feels like I'm holding his feelings and looking at it, too
