So how come nobody here mentioned Enka no Joou I know it's kind of different, but I thought Riko did a real good job. She was in a completely different role and I think it showed what great talent she has.

Second that, I really liked her performance in Enka no Joou . I'm currently downloading Hachimitsu to Kuroba. _________________
eeeeee! I see a lot of familiar names here from other forums! I guess this happens quite often huh...me being slow with the trend.
Anyway...I'd never heard of Narumi Riko until seeing her 1 liters. Even then, I just thought she was pretty good at her role but nothing more. Recently, I saw "Juken no kamisama" and have been keeping up with "Honey and Clover." From the two, I find myself drawn to Riko's work! I mean she's soooo young, yet does a pretty great job with roles that are much older than herself. e.g. in H&C she portrays a college student. In reality...she's 15 and her co-stars are all in their early to mid 20s.
Anyway, I recently skimmed through "Kaigoken musashi"...was curious about it and googled it....and ended up here. Happy to see other Riko-supporters too! woot!

Yea I agree! And I thought she was adorable in Wedding Planner. Was that her first drama? She must have been 9 or 10. Possibly younger.

I like the ol' 'do too. She's hiding her widow's peak with this new cut, which bites because it's practically her signature. _________________

She's credited in Trick and Trick 2 as Yukie's character as a child. I don't remember her in Trick but I do remember seeing her in Trick 2. Don't remember if she had any lines though.
Another very early role is in Denchi ga kireru made ('Till the batteries run out) It about a hospital with terminally ill kids. If you watch this one, remove all razor blades, sharp objects, etc. Not real warm and fuzzy.
