I haven't been around much, gomen nasai Pout Nihongo ga benkyo shimashita kara w00t! I'm getting ready for my conversation with Shingo Victory! Peace!

Okay, I went to 2 concerts in 2006 and at first they do look larger then life! I think I was in shock for about a minute when they first came out on stage. Then I got teary. rofl I got my tickets through Japanese-speaking friends who helped with auctions. The 1st time I saw them was in Tokyo and Takuya sang almost the whole chorus with me and Tsuyopon blew me a kiss! Yeah I had a great seat 2nd row on the side. When Shingo came around on the trolley, I could've jumped out and grabbed him! I SHOULD'VE! Bonk

They are really very handsome men. Goro is flawless! He is beautiful! Shingo is huge! He's tall and big, not fat but he's a big man! Just perfect! Shingo is perfect! In love Leada smiles all the time. They didn't look super thin like I thought they would. They have nice bodies. Even Tsuyopon is small but has a nice body. Did I mention how perfect Shingo is! Bonk

The concerts have a life of their own. It's like the energy flows from the fans to SMAP and from SMAP to the fans. You can really feel it. You can feel how much they love being their and how much they want you to enjoy the show. I hope every SMAPPIE can see at least one show. Your love for them will just grow so much deeper! Smitten

The only thing about the concert is the fear of being thrown out because if you're not a club member, they can do that. I think that puts a damper on things a bit. Although when Shingo took off his shirt, I didn't care and was screaming like a mad woman! I was the only one in that area doing that. Most of the woman that were they didn't do anything was look through their binoculars at Takuya. Grumble

(1) That was what happened to me the first time. I was so enthralled by how the audience interact with the song numbers done by SMAP, there came a point that I stopped looking for a while at the stage and just watched the nice swaying various colors of the penlight of the audience, they are in unison in hand movements with most songs, especially the song "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana" with the hand movements, I was so amazed, the fans/audience did the same actions as SMAP so I studied that movement in the DVD and learn the song, and next time I watched the ensuing year, I was able to sing and do the hand movements together with them Applaud

(2) Frankly, I was at my wits end Nut when I entered the concert venue the 1st time because of the many horror stories I've read that happened to fans who are not fanclub members, that they got thrown out if they are not the FC members holding the tickets. But I wanted so much to experience a SMAP concert, so I overcame that fear and hoped for the best. First hurdle-to enter the venue but shocks, I was stopped Shocked because even bottled water was not allowed but I was together with other Japanese girls who drank their sodas & bottled water then we were allowed to enter leaving the bottles at the door. I was obvious since I speak English but it was no problem, I was even accompanied where my seat was, maybe I was taken in as an expat living there/whatever - good thing because I was easily allowed to pass the long tables where there were bag checkers (looking for cameras, etc.).
The feeling of being able to finally enter the venue and to see the stage is kind of surreal for me, & I just had to contain my happiness because I wanted to shout "This is it! this is not a dream, I'm about to see SMAP live in a few minutes" & I'd say from beginning to end, for me there was never a lull moment, I dare not blink so as not to miss a step, a move, an antic, and a smile Dancing

Trailer for I Come with the Rain Takuya's upcoming movie. I'm really excited by it I must say; it looks like the type of movie I'd watch even if he wasn't in it :-)

Warning--bloody and a bit violent.

SMAPxSMAP 14/04/08 http://aleyna333.wordpress.com/2008/04/17/smapxsmap-140408/
Short summary for last Monday's SPORT-special, a hilarious clip where everyone tortures Goro and a full 10-minute medley with Jpop-princess Utada Hikaru.

Nakai was spotted drinking with friends last weekend, if I can trust my sources. And he was with a pretty woman too Wink

Elaine, I know ;p
Nakai's always been a playboy. He's it just a different way than Goro and doesn't end up in every damn magazine because he's fought in a public place or something as clever Mr Green
Sure he's had. Heck, I bet half of Japan would welcome the man in open arms ^^
(I would too. We had a pretty interesting discussion with a friend yesterday, actually. It ended up about something that had I a chance right now, I'd go back to Japan right away and try to get Okamoto Kenichi because he's on the market right now ^^ And he said that he wouldn't mind going out with Nakai because seriously he's so cool. And the boy is so straight otherwise hehe SMAPped!)

J382, welcome.
I actually am in Finland right now and my Finnish might be tolerable (to some extent..) so if you want to chat, don't be scared to throw me a PM.

I'd like to share translations here, once in awhile^^ This is from a radio program hosts by ShinTsuyo combi!

SMAP POWER SPLASH
20 April 2008

translated by Yanie

Shingo: Minna-san, konbanwa!! Katori Shingo desu.
Tsuyoshi: Kusanagi Tsuyoshi deesu! Saa, today is April 20th.
Shingo: April 20th.
Tsuyoshi: Aa... today, my drama "Ryokiteki na Kanojo" will start! Everyone, you must watch it! From 9 PM, on TBS!
Shingo: You've finished the filming, huh?
Tsuyoshi: Yup, I've finished them all. And since it'll start soon, I'll be feeling I missed those days, it has been a long time since the first episode's filming...
Shingo: So, how about the finished episodes?
Tsuyoshi: I haven't seen them, ne...
Shingo: When did the staff finished editing them?
Tsuyoshi: I'm not sure, but I think they finished it just recently.
Shingo: Ee...what are they doing? Why?
Tsuyoshi: Maybe they had a lot going on.
Shingo: What are they doing?
Tsuyoshi: Of course, today's episode is finished...
Shingo: They've only finished editing one episode?
Tsuyoshi: Un, yeah. But I'm really looking forward to it!
Shingo: The filming...
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: ...took a lot of time.
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: Right after filming...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: ...it's good that they don't have to immediately work on the editing, ne.
Tsuyoshi: Un... sou da ne....
Shingo: So, they only have to pay later, jaa....
Tsuyoshi: I think so.
Shingo: So for this one hour on-air, they've worked hard to edit it.
Tsuyoshi: I guess so, un. I'm really looking forward to it. So, everyone please watch it!
Shingo: Saa... for this week and next week, we have SMAP goods prizes, and there's a keyword quiz! We'll say the keywords somewhere during this program, so please write it and send it to us!
Tsuyoshi: So lets start!
Shingo: Hai!
Tsuyoshi: This week's first song!
Shingo: Hai!
Tsuyoshi: We'll start with something that has sort of a latin flavor to it....
Shingo: Ii nee....
Tsuyoshi: Sergio Mendes featuring Will.I.Am, FUNKY BAHIA!

(song)

~*April 2008's Monthly Theme*~

Tsuyoshi: Monthly theme for April 2008 is "I Am Now in Season". We'll start to read mails!
Shingo: Hai~
Tsuyoshi: Hai! Okay, which one? This one?
Shingo: This one!
Tsuyoshi: Alright, I'll read it then. "Tsuyopon, Shingo-chan, konbanban~!!".
Shingo: Konbanban~~!!!
Tsuyoshi: "Starting April, I've decided to start wearing make-up! I've been always without make-up before. Now that, I wear make-up, I'm surprised! It has changed my looks so much, I'm shocked! The me who has changed now is very 'season'." She's 17, ne... Kaori-san~
Shingo: So, make-up...
Tsuyoshi: I guess girls, yappari, will change when they wear make-up, nee...
Shingo: They change...
Tsuyoshi: Un... well, natural looks also kawaii... but if they put on make-up they'll look beautiful~ and they'll make men feels dokidoki, deshou? That goes for actresses too, ne... they change alot, depends on the scene, really surprising. Yappa, girls change with make-up, ne...
Shingo: Change, alright... but...
Tsuyoshi: Un~~
Shingo: Nee... it makes me remember again~!
Tsuyoshi: About what~?
Shingo: About Yuko-chan~
Tsuyoshi: You come to remember her?
Shingo: Un~~
Tsuyoshi: So, it makes you remember her...
Shingo: She do make-up so fast~~
Tsuyoshi: She do it fast?
Shingo: She do it, pa, pa, pa, like that.
Tsuyoshi: Aa~ sou~
Shingo: So, actually she doesn't really wear them, ne~
Tsuyoshi: Aaa~ so her make-up looks close to her natural looks?
Shingo: It was really, pa-pa-pa, y'know!
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: She's faster than me, and all of the sudden "otsukaresama deshitaa"(thank you for your hard work).
Tsuyoshi: So you thought, "a, it's her natural looks" ?
Shingo: Yeah, beautiful... so, she doesn't really wear make-up.
Tsuyoshi: Un~~
Shingo: It reminds me of her~~, again~~
Tsuyoshi: They are beautiful nee... that's why they're actresses, ahahaha (laughs).
Shingo: You know... I...
Tsuyoshi: Un~~
Shingo: I said "I love you" to her.
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: "I love you! Aishitemasu! Aishitemasu!", "Stop it! Don't say it continously like that!", "Aishitemasu!"....
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: (sings) Anaaata to futari de (ends) Hai! Takeuchi Yuko-san~, is a wrap!! Thank you for the hard work! Hahaha! ....then it ended there.
Tsuyoshi: A~ sou~ nano~
Shingo: With the 3-4 months memories I have, it just ended there.
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: Sou, I naturally said it!
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: Do you understand?
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: Inside the story, the time span was 1-2 years, y'know.
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: Memories by memories, aaa~always~
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: And then...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: "Aishiteru! Aishiteru, aishiteru~" ....aaaanato to futari de, the song started...
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: "Hai! Takeuchi Yuko-san, is a wrap! Thank you for the hard work!" (laughs)
Tsuyoshi: (laughs)
Shingo: Yuko-chan also said...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: "No, really... thank you for all these times~!"...
Tsuyoshi: (laughs) Un~
Shingo: Then, she shook hands with me and Shizuku....
Tsuyoshi: Un~ un~
Shingo: How should I say it, this....
Tsuyoshi: Un, un.
Shingo: Daisuki de!(I like her) Aishitemasu~ (laughs) First time I said it to her...
Tsuyoshi: Un. (laughs)
Shingo: Do you get it??
Tsuyoshi: (laughs) It must be such a conflict, ne... what a conflict, ne~
Shingo: Such memories~~
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: Then, after I said it...
Tsuyoshi: Un... (laughs)
Shingo: It's a wrap~~~ dayo!
Tsuyoshi: (laughs)
Shingo: The next day, the next day I won't be able to see her anymore...
Tsuyoshi: Hahahaha! It's a job! There's nothing you can do about it!
Shingo: Have you ever experience something like that?
Tsuyoshi: (laughs) So it's about leaving a deep impression...
Shingo: Have you?
Tsuyoshi: Deep impression, naa... deep impression... ahahaha... aa~
Shingo: As a feeling, y'know...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: I've hugged her... and I've kissed her...
Tsuyoshi: Un~~~
Shingo: Kissing scene... hugging each other....
Tsuyoshi: Un~~
Shingo: "Aishiteru"! I finally said it... then, the sunset... it's gonna be dark soon, they all went, "Yabeee~~!! It will soon be sunset! Let's hurry!!", "this one, and that one, cut it! hug her! lift her up!"... "Aishiteru, aishiteru, aishiteru~", "CUT!"... then the AD immediately put on the song on the set....
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: Then it's already dark outside...
Tsuyoshi: I see...
Shingo: We all went out to the field.... Bito-san (*Mio's father actor) felt moved. "Hai! So with this, Bito-san and Takeuchi-san is a wrap~~!!".
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: He said, "Hooontou arigatou deshitaaa!".
Tsuyoshi: Un~ un~
Shingo: "Then, Takeuchi-san too, is a wrap! Thank you!"
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: She said, "It was really fun in this long time, although I had my worries too,"
Tsuyoshi: Un~ un~
Shingo: "Arigatou gozaimashitaaa"
Tsuyoshi: Un... (laughs)
Shingo: Then, I immediately ride on the car...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: To SmaStation...
Tsuyoshi: Ooo~ sugoi!
Shingo: I really, really thought about everything in the car... somehow...
Tsuyoshi: Aa... wakaru, wakaru (I understand)...

Shingo: Then, I realized the car behind my car moving in high speed is Yuko-chan!
Tsuyoshi: Un~ (laughs)
Shingo: Although my car is moving in high speed too... (laughs)
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: I opened the upper window and I waved my hand to her!
Tsuyoshi: Aa~ aa~
Shingo: I could only do that...
Tsuyoshi: Uwahahahahaha!
Shingo: Hahahaha!
Tsuyoshi: Hahaha.... that was good, good. Don't you think?
Shingo: Haa... *sighs*
Tsuyoshi: Yeah... well... let's just do our best~
Shingo: Un~
Tsuyoshi: I guess we have to go through alot of troubles to be able to create impressive scenes, y'know. (laughs)
Shingo: Sou da na...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: I mean when I say "Aishiteru", then I was told, "It's a wrap!".
Tsuyoshi: Ahahahaha!!! Aaa~
Shingo: Really, really... unbelievable...
Tsuyoshi: Alright then! For the monthly theme "I Am Now in Season", please send it to this address....
Shingo: *small voice, mumbling* Yuko-chan genki kana...? (Is Yuko-chan fine now?)

~*S-30 Corner*~

Shingo: Domo, konbanwa~! Katori Shingo desu.
Tsuyoshi: Kusanagi Tsuyoshi desu.
Shingo: Both of us are in our 30s already. When we turn 30, we'll sweat in weird places, ne.
Tsuyoshi: Are?? Why did it come out from here?... like that, ne.
Shingo: S-
ShinTsuyo: 30!
Shingo: So this is an adult's "SMASH" with good reputation. Let's Tsuyopon, the adult, talk about this. Today's theme is "Nippori, Toneri Liner". What's this?
Tsuyoshi: Nippori-Toneri Liner?
Shingo: Un.
Tsuyoshi: Nippori-Toneri Liner... but, it really hasn't become that popular ne.
Shingo: Is it popular?
Tsuyoshi: Don't think so. It's gotta be a maniac to know this...
Shingo: I know, but...
Tsuyoshi: I know about it, but... of course...
Shingo: What is this?
Tsuyoshi: Of course, it's a group!
Shingo: Ahahahahaha! (laughs)
Tsuyoshi: Nippori-Toneri Liner, other than a group's name, it's unthinkable, deshou??
Shingo: So, it's a group?? What's the genre? Comedian? Singer?
Tsuyoshi: Nippori-Toneri Liner... Liner, is like, slicing the wind...?
Shingo: Un~
Tsuyoshi: So it's like a cheering/supporting group...?
Shingo: In music?
Tsuyoshi: Like, "kiidan"...
Shingo: A, oo~~

Shingo: How many people are there in this group?
Tsuyoshi: Quite many, around 8 people, would be good right?
Shingo: Hee.....
Tsuyoshi: Toneri Liner... they were all salaryman at first, then they organized it....
Shingo: It's good, somehow today you have the better ideas...
Tsuyoshi: It's good deshou...
Shingo: Un~~
Tsuyoshi: Un~.... "MIDOMI"~?
Shingo: In March 30th...
Tsuyoshi: It'll start selling?
Shingo: It'll start to operate~

Shingo: To connect Nippori station and... Shinsui Park.
Tsuyoshi: Aaaa~~ I see.... so it's a train~!!
Shingo: Saa, let's continue!!
Tsuyoshi: Un~
Shingo: Mido~mi!
Tsuyoshi: Midomi!?
Shingo: Aa~
Tsuyoshi: Midomi~
Shingo: What do you think it is?
Tsuyoshi: Midomi... this must be a name... (laughs)
Shingo: I'll give you a hint. This is a website!
Tsuyoshi: Website?
Shingo: A website in the internet, called Midomi.
Tsuyoshi: Then, in that site...
Shingo: What can we do in that site?
Tsuyoshi: I know it. Not long ago, "Noh Maker" was popular, right??
Shingo: Sou~!
Tsuyoshi: Nee....
Shingo: Un~
Tsuyoshi: So it must be something like that, that everyone can play with and laughable!
Shingo: Ooo~
Tsuyoshi: It'll make people goes, "What's this??", "It's impossible!".
Shingo: Hoo~
Tsuyoshi: Like, "Let's put in our name once again!"
Shingo: Oo, oo...
Tsuyoshi: It must be something like that... (laughs)
Shingo: In this site, Tsuyopon ne...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: Even if you do that...
Tsuyoshi: Un.
Shingo: You won't suceed.
Tsuyoshi: Won't succeed? Why?? Why?
Shingo: This site can't identify names!
Tsuyoshi: Eee~??
Shingo: You can't use it with "Kusanagi".
Tsuyoshi: Aa... because my name's kanji is not available?
Shingo: With Kusanagi, it won't be able to identify what sound that is.
Tsuyoshi: Why? It's not available?
Shingo: There will be an error message like that.
Tsuyoshi: So it's from "profession"?
Shingo: Nope, not profession, either.
Tsuyoshi: What? It'll be rejected too?
Shingo: Yes, you can't search for the answer with those type of datas!
Tsuyoshi: Heee... then, what Midomi search for?
Shingo: What do you think?
Tsuyoshi: A! Our previous lives!
Shingo: Haha... previous life? It has become a trend, ne...
Tsuyoshi: Hai~!
Shingo: You can try to hum a song on this site!
Tsuyoshi: *hums a song*
Shingo: Sorry, it cannot identify the song.
Tsuyoshi: Aaaa~ wakatta!!
Shingo: This is Sono Mama by SMAP!
Tsuyoshi: The song site! The song site!

(song)

[note: MIDOMI site is a search engine for searching songs. Just by humming the songs through the mic, the site can search the song for you.]

~*Free Talk Corner*~

Shingo needs serious help x) He kept mentioning "Yuko-chan, Yuko-chan" in SmaStation and radio programs! Sweat Poor Shingo x) And I really love Tsuyoshi here, for once he acted like a big brother, "It's a job! There's nothing you can do!". Ii kanji... he's so understanding and comforting. He was really understanding Shingo's worries.
Shingo opened the window and waved to behind just because he realized Takeuchi's car was behind, in high speed too! Isn't that dangerous?! xD He's acting like an elementary school boy falling in love for the first time Mr Green He needs help to separate Eiji character from his body soon x)

Tsuyoshi got scared with the software update!! LOL! hehe He cancelled the software update offers, coz he's scared to update it for free!! hahaha, so funny! And he couldn't transfer the new 3 pictures. So everytime he has new pictures, he'll transfer all of the old pictures once again to his PC? Haha... so he always use the "Select All" function? lol!! No wonder Shingo asked how many more memory he got in his PC, lol.
It's funny that despite the fact Shingo graduated the lowest education, but he's the smartest one when it comes to computer^^

Oh, Shingo is not into taking pictures, just like me! Mr Green I understand that feeling, counting on our own memory and feelings as memories^^

Toto Scolded Smap
Shukan Bunshun is reporting an interesting happening occurred during the recording of SMAP's TV show. According to it, SMAP invited a world-famous musician to their TV show, SMAPxSMAP last month. And in this show, they collaborated and performed their representative song together. Then, the guitarist of the group got angry about the quality of SMAP's singing, and he suddenly stopped playing the guitar and left the stage. Then, other member from TO... no, the world-famous progressive rock group calmed his anger, and he came back, and the recording took place. However, before members of SMAP sing, they had to take a one-hour vocal lesson from him. Why did Steve Lukather get angry about SMAP?...Maybe he was introduced SMAP by their agent or the producer of the show, 'You are going to perform with one of Japanese representative singers!!' 'How does their music like?' 'Well... well, Japanese Backstreet Boys!!'...The agent or producer should explain a little more: 'They are Japanese Backstreet Boys, but in Japan, you know, people need songs for karaoke. Hence, they are not so good as singers. So, please wink at their singing. ' Or, he or she should explain, SMAP stands for 'Sports Music Assembly People', sports come first, and Music arrives later.... rofl rofl rofl

The Toto/ Smap YouTube videos have mostly been removed...

I donno if its just me..but the whole shingo always saying Yuko's pretty and always mentioning her seems like he's doing on purpose..like not from his heart...but at the same time it seems like he really means it. I know that whenever he says that Yuko chan is really pretty he means it because I mean, she is beautiful. But he always talks about her and it seems so....fake. Like he's trying to get people to think something. Something he's doing on purpose kinda of thing. XD maybe he's trying to play with the media or something. :S

Wooh... bingo! That's what I've been started to think too. When it was still in SmaStation, I still think he's sincere about it. But then, after so many times in the radio... I started to think, "What is this? You're doing it too much!!".
FYI, I heard from another fan in Japan, Shingo mentioned Yuko again in his article corner in the MYOJO magazine that's just released today. He said he got a birthday present from Yuko during the drama's filming^^

I don't know... is it to show his act of rebellion? Or will another Nakai-Koda case show up? (just to pretend in front of public)

You're right... the bimyou part is... "like not from his heart...but at the same time it seems like he really means it."
