I liked the beginning of Long Love Letter best. But I did watch the entire thing.
It ended up working out in its own way.

I'm 6 episodes into Bara No Nai Hana Ya

http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1241.htm

Somehow I doubt I'll get through the seventh. It's the kind of romantic melodrama that depends on the stupidity of the characters... and the audience.

Six episodes in and to be honest, I really don't care what happens to any of the characters.

Saito-San

http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1246.htm

I just watched the first episode. Yeah... this is better. Mimura, Risa Sudo... One crusading Mom standing up, against all odds, for the rules of civilized society. That's the ticket.

I'm on episode 5 and I'm really liking it. I've fascinated with just about everything that's going on! Wynter <--- nerd

I guess I will watch that next since you mentioned it in your email too. Unfortunately I have a lot of homework and work this weekend.... thinking for a minute... wait that has never actually stopped me before... Beaten

Right now watching Zettai Kareshi ep 5 while trying to write my speech for Japanese. Such a damn cute, funny show. I don't think the manga fans like it that much but it's good enough for me. I couldn't wait to have cori download it for me so it's one I'm risking downloading myself.

Good choice. Who needs homework when you have dramas to watch. Thumbsup Beaten

Ooh, I'm going to author that to DVD soon, so I might have to watch it asap. Big Grin

I watched Zettai Kareshi and wrote my speech at the same time. Victory! Peace!

I also watched the first episode of Change earlier. It was decent. I don't know what Kimutaku's character's profession will be in his next drama. They will run out of original ones soon. Since that's pretty much the only difference in his characters... Well, to be fair this one and Karei-naru Ichizoku seems to have him actually acting and not just playing himself at a different job.

Finished ep. 8 of Ashita no Kita Yoshio I am LOVING this drama!! w00t! Well written, great performances all the way down the line. In episode 8 they introduced a character briefly named Azuma. The actor playing Azuma is Masayoshi Yamazaki a Japanese singer who sings the theme song for this drama. I love it when they do stuff like that! Kind of like they're winking at us saying, 'You're paying attention, right?" Applaud

Agreed. The ending was a little too preachy, but it was a really good drama anyway. Smile

On topic: Gonna watch the second episode of Last Friends. Victory! Peace!

There was a drama that Geez was talking about much earlier that I said I would move to the fourth place on my watch list. Of course, I've lost my list (yes, I still write on paper Beaten ), and I can't remember what that drama is!

So I'm moving on to Sweet Home (thanks shin2!) which seems rather promising. I really REALLY enjoy Tomoko-san. Victory! Peace!

Wynter,

We were talking about 101st Proposal.

But you can't go wrong with Sweet Home. It is a pure joy.

Flowers for Algernon episode 1

Perhaps/despite that I already know the story, it was quite moving even in the first episode. Both Santamaria Yusuke and Kanno Miho were very good already.

I'm not sure if Eve really enjoyed it. I read her comment on the drama. Beaten

But I'm glad there are others who do. w00t! O! And you HAVE to watch Trick!!! It's such a grand show! All seasons of it, for that matter.

I'll be starting Sweet Home now. Who needs a prep to prep?

Finished Ep. 5 of Last Christmas. Big breakthrough for the characters. I'll have to watch 6 (and maybe 7 Smile) tonight.

I've had a lot less time in the last few days (having moved Tuesday) - and you'll notice I'm posting this from a cafe as I don't get internet in at home until tomorrow. However, they're promising 16 mbit/2 mbit. I'll believe it when I see it Smile

I'm desk shopping today - so my monitor doesn't have to sit on boxes. It's a big place and feels really empty right now!

Are you enjoying it?

I finished the first episode of Sweet Home. I LUFF Tomoko! She's so hilarious both verbally and physically. The neighbors crack me up. I'm so glad it's a comedy. I needed one.
