Release date set for Yui Aragakifs latest, eCheer Cheer Cheer!f
Posted by kevin at 7:37am on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 EDT
Originally slated for September, Kensaku Watanabees Cheer Cheer Cheer! (Fure Fure Shojo) is now officially scheduled for release in Japan on October 18, 2008.
In the years since Waterboys and Swing Girls set the bar impossibly high and created an insatiable market for similar movies, the zeroes-to-heroes formula has grown into sort of the Mad Libs of Japanese cinema. The plots pretty much always go something like this:
A group of [girls/boys/teens] decide to take up [quirky activity] simply to [shallow, selfish motive], but end up developing a genuine love for [aforementioned quirky activity] and decide to participate in the [local event with a big crowd to win over].
gCheer Cheer Cheer!h seems to fit neatly into that set-up. In the movie mega idol Yui Aragaki plays Momoko; a shy, lonely girl who spends her spare time reading romantic fantasy stories. When she develops a huge crush on her schoolfs star baseball player she comes up with the perfect excuse to watch him play every day: reviving the schoolfs nearly-defunct traditional cheer squad. However, the only people she can get to join are a bunch of misfits and losers. Although Momoko never lacks spirit, their cheering begins as a disaster. It isnft until they discover the true meaning of gcheeringh and develop a new-found passion for it that they begin to truly inspire the people around them.

Yui doesn't look very pretty with her hair tied back.
nevertheless, still HAWT AS HELL!!!
Well,i think she looks better with her hair up because when she lets go her hair ,her hair looks flat. I think it's because she naturally has really straight hair and a little thin as well. She should curl her hair to get a little more volume

Yui Aragaki to cover Kobukuro song
Wed, August 27, 2008 (2:24am EDT)
Actress Yui Aragaki has announced her second single. It will be a cover of Kobukuro's "Akai Ito," a song originally created during their indie days. With this year being the 10th anniversary of their formation, Kobukuro decided to collaborate with a female artist to give the song new life.
Aragaki made her singing debut last December with the album "Sora" and was able to reach #3 on the charts. Last month, her first single "Make my day" made #2 on the Oricon charts and #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

^especially like this shot, she looks like a freaking beauty queen..how tall is gakki anyway?? she should consider joining a beauty pageant.. _________________
I think she is apparently far taller than 5'6 or 168. But I would have to say, there is no matter how tall she is, because all of her lovely things never go away, as long as she can keep saying to herself like 'I love the way I am, all the time.'
