Thanks for the recommendation. I will check Seikei Bijin out. In your opinion is it a good drama? Any others you would recommend?

Forgot to mention that I have Anego, but haven't watched it yet. So any good drama with cute girls in the bar and at the office/work would be great. Fun and not too serious at the same time touching would be what I'm kind of looking for.

Thanks again for any and all recommendations!

Seikei Bijin is great. One of my favorites...

Out of the dramas i've seen, Tokyo Friends has 4 pretty ladies (Otsuka Ai, Matsumoto Rio, Kobayashi Mao and Maki Yoko) and although it revolves around Otsuka Ai's character, they do work in a bar/cafe .... and it is kind of touching.

I think it's one of Ryoko-chan's best roles. Victory! Peace!

I think I'm one of the only ones who wasn't that impressed by her in Seikei Bijin. I was turned off by her obnoxiousness in the beginning, but at least she calmed down towards the ending. I prefered her in Nyokei Kazoku.

And now for a recommendation request.

Are there any dramas where a main character dies? Besides:

I think it's more that you couldn't get over Shiina Kippei... I think he tainted the entire drama for you.

But he wasn't the one who made her obnoxious, so I'm not sure what you mean. Confused I think even if a different actor was costarring instead of Shiina, I still would've been turned off by her obnoxiousness. I did grow to like her at the end though, but overall, she didn't impress me in that drama. I liked her a lot better in Nyokei.

That could be a female thing too, I thought she was so stunning and so funny that I was willing to overlook her obnoxious side Smile

I liked her free-spiritedness and her comic timing in the role... Her character was good in Nyokei, but way too much of a victim to my liking.

Can't think of any "regular" dramas off hand, what about Taigas?

It would've been great to see all the students die in each of the Gokusen dramas....

I'd watch all three if that were to happen.

Gokusen meets Battle Royale...

A great idea, but only with all the actors from all 3 seasons taking each other on in a wholesale slaughter of each other...

Hell, I'd watch that too....

It's used so much, it makes one wonder about the Japanese healthcare system!

And wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! ^_^ I don't think I have some of these, so I'm going to try searching for them.

I remember seeing the latter drama and I kind of liked it. I think that I just have bad taste in dramas. Beaten

That would be awesome if that happened! And Nakama Yukie could kill the survivor with an evil look in her eye at the end. Big Grin
