I will watch it to the end. As I said, it's just a nice relaxing drama without any real suspense.... kind of like giving you a moment to watch without any stress.

I like it so far. Let's see what happens.

Again, thanks for the link Ralph.

Yoshida Riko is good but her wardrobe is FABULOUS. Anyone knows who sponsored her wardrobe???

Is she pure Japanese ? She has a nose which most actresses would get their plastic surgeons to duplicate.

I thought the dog in the show looks redundant.

kinda disappointed that Rie is now a mere supporting cast compared to her heydays.

I've just finished ep4 as well. Didn't like that one as much but the others have been enjoyable. It's sad that this drama is being cut short. Hayami and Kato just can't bring in the decent ratings, much less the big ones. I guess the script is too tame for some but that's one of the things I like most about it. Quite easy to actually relax and watch this one.

If it is true that the drama is being cut because of ratings I'm surprised. Because if you look at the past few NTV dramas in this time slot, none of them have performed that great ratings wise. So Oh My girl! is just keeping up the trend in being a not-so-good drama.

I watched three episodes and I don't think this show is relaxing at all. xD It just makes me upset and I don't particularly like any of the characters.

Hmm, by relaxing I think many people meant that the plot isn't particularly crazy. Nothing is really out of the ordinary whereas many new dramas today are intense and have some ridiculous plot elements. I've seen 5 eps so far and Hayami is starting to get on my nerves a bit. He's pretty one dimensional and every episode involves him getting mad about something and then being sorry for it later. I think I would be able to deal with that just so long as there was a bit more between Koutaro and Mineko. They've hinted at it but nothing has really happened Shake Head

Finished episode 6. This episode had some fairly intense emotional moments.... still nice and easy to watch. It would be a shame if it is cut.

You're right, it's a pretty mediocre show, but like a said, this show is just following the same mediocre standard set by other NTV shows. I mean if ratings have anything to do with it then, Gakko ja Oshierarenai!, which aired before had an average rating of 6.4 according to Dramawiki.

True. NTV and TV Asahi don't have the budget like TBS and Fuji though so I guess this is what they can do. Only decent drama I've seen from NTV would be Nobuta. Not sure about any others...

Yeah they're budget isn't like TBS & Fuji but they're capable of making good shows, I mean Jyoou no Kyoushitsu was/is on of the best J-dramas I've seen. It was good all around. Yes Amami Yuki is a veteran actress but even Shida Mirai who was a newcomer at the time, was awesome as well.
It's this particular time slot that has pretty crappy shows, probably due to the actors they choose.
