I will watch it to the end. As I said, it's just a nice relaxing drama without any real suspense.... kind of like giving you a moment to watch without any stress.

I have to agree with Ralph. I'm going to watch till the end.
I like it so far. Let's see what happens.
Again, thanks for the link Ralph.
You rock!

Nothing is really out of the ordinary whereas many new dramas today are intense and have some ridiculous plot elements. I've seen 5 eps so far and Hayami is starting to get on my nerves a bit. He's pretty one dimensional and every episode involves him getting mad about something and then being sorry for it later. I think I would be able to deal with that just so long as there was a bit more between Koutaro and Mineko. They've hinted at it but nothing has really happened |
You're right, it's a pretty mediocre show, but like a said, this show is just following the same mediocre standard set by other NTV shows. I mean if ratings have anything to do with it then, Gakko ja Oshierarenai!, which aired before had an average rating of 6.4 according to Dramawiki.

True. NTV and TV Asahi don't have the budget like TBS and Fuji though so I guess this is what they can do. Only decent drama I've seen from NTV would be Nobuta. Not sure about any others...

Yeah they're budget isn't like TBS & Fuji but they're capable of making good shows, I mean Jyoou no Kyoushitsu was/is on of the best J-dramas I've seen. It was good all around. Yes Amami Yuki is a veteran actress but even Shida Mirai who was a newcomer at the time, was awesome as well.
It's this particular time slot that has pretty crappy shows, probably due to the actors they choose.
