I think he already did it once in the scary story special series thingy.
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:

Ah, but JDorama can't beat KDrama in that department. Almost all of their melodramas got a main character dying or dead in the end.

Hi again, has anyone here heard of a JDorama called:

Shinkuju Swan? It's about the yakuza and red light district in Japan. If anyone saw it is it any good?

Thanks!

I'm back here for recommendations. Tried my luck few times and it was no good. Sooo, can anyone recommend a more mature themed drama? (Which doesn't mean the main character has to be necessarily middle aged guy/woman) The drama shouldn't involve school. A Lot of plot twists and a hint of romance :p

Hello.

I've seen Gokusen 1-2, My Boss My hero and Gachi Baka!.

Gokusen was way too cheesy..... My Boss My Hero was excellent! loved it, Gachi Baka was also good.

Can you guys suggest any JDramas for me?

Hmm, before bmwracer gets to say it, Nodame Cantabile!
Also, if you like more serious dramas, I'd go for Unfair, which is propably my favourite drama so far.

This goes a bit off-topic, but the drama you suggested yesterday, uh, Koi ni Ochitara seems to load veeeeery slowly. You know if it's downloadable via XDCC somewhere? I'm always having hard time with torrents. I've watched almost every drama subbed by SARS Fansubs because you can browse the XDCC packs directly from the site Naughty

Not that I know of... I pretty much get all my stuff from D-Addicts torrents.

Do you have your hardware set up correctly, i.e., Port Forwarding?

You can get it from http://community.livejournal.com/jdramas/1530325.html#cutid1
But you have to have a (free) Live Journal account AND join the group to be able to see the links. It only takes a few minutes.

Too serious? You can't watch Nodame with serious face, can you? hehe Well maybe some parts.

Well then, how about Zettai Kareshi? It's a bit cheesy too but I enjoyed it a lot.
Stand Up!! is also worth watching.

Nodame... serious? rofl rofl
It is the best comedy drama I've watched so far. Nothing came close to the laughs I have gotten from it.

Anyway if you like comedy, try Hotaru no Hikari. If you like school drama, you can try Taiyou to Umi no Kyoushitsu.

I took the time to create the account, but the download was painfully slow (around 4kb/sec). I'm beginning to think the problem is my connection.
XDCC seems to be the only option that work with decent speeds. I don't have a firewall in my router (that I know of?) and I tried to turn off the Windows Firewall. No luck. Bang Head
